Very high-standard production, great games, great casters, great hosts (well done Geoff!) and i saw a show with a awesome crowd.
There are some things to improve but this was a event which will help grow esports. Congrats to Thorzain and Dreamhack!

Dreamhack delivered an epic fight between foreigners and koreans for free, while MLG went for a PPV of matches we see on regular basis in GSL, where the win doesn't matter all that much tbh. so glad dreamhack isn't ppv i dont think theres even a small chance of it going ppv not as long as they have a paying live crowd and government funding (none of which the arenas have) SVT is goverment founded but they are not giving any money to Dreamhack, they just offered their streaming services for them to use (which is a kind of support but the way you put it indicated money). SVT are picking up anything that is "in the public interests" which apparently eSPORTS is becoming more and more =) What's SVT? Swedish National Television. Its 3 (or 4 ?) tv channels that recieve funding from the government. The channels have no commercials and are available for free to anyone with a tv in Sweden aswell as most of the nordic. ? It's two, but they are renting out space in the TV-house to other channels. SVT1 SVT2 Barnkanalen Kunskapskanalen SVT24 So it's 5 (4 if you count channel slots since Barnkanalen/Kunskapskanalen share channel)

I can just hope every other tournament/organization will one day, sooner then later, follow amount of awesomeness DH presents to spectators. And at the end, big gratz to Thorzain even if I am almost Polt's fanboi and wanted so badly him to win this! :-) Dreamhack does feel a lot more pationate and a lot less "this is just big business" than MLG. The atmosphere, the music, the casters, the interviews, hell they've even went through the trouble of organizing an afterparty.. must be really great being there! The production value stomps all over MLG's and is just inches behind GSL's, and still DH manages to remain free. I don't care if DH actually receives some form of government support -cultural events like this generally do in Europe-, this is what esports has to look like. It looked professional. I don't think stations like Eurosport would be against broadcasting events like this.

I wonder what the results were going to be with Stephano at this tournament, though. Meh, we're never going to know, time to watch him stream :D

What? Havent you heard that school is preventing people from singing the national anthem cause its racist? The only time we are allowed to be patriotic is during sports events. How can a national anthem be racist? Exactly, it is as dumb as it sounds. ...How come your governmant can survive for so long? Oo Don't people in sweden actually love sweden?
