I dont feel any hype for this event because i have no idea what they are actually playing for. i couldnt agree more. its just a smaller, less exciting winter arena and i dont even know why this happens. last time i payed, but i didnt feel the need to pay this time.

I'm not a fan of dread through the bracket, and not much use for storyline / upsets. I just want see the best of the best trying to beat each other. I could care less about result and the seeding thing doesn't make much sense to me anyway. But 50+ matches / 100+ games of the very top performance is great.

Could be realistic for this to be PPV in a year or 2 with this 8 man format, defiantly not NOW. Thanks but no thanks. I'll be skipping this .... "event".

And before you pull the foreigners card, maybe you should watch baseball if all you want to see is your home team winning, I watch SC2 because I love watching high level games.

Would you rather watch scrubs getting dominated by koreans? 1,000,000 person tournament is not automatically better than 8 person tournament. It's basically a series of showmatches played out to determine seeding. It struggles to define itself as a real tournament because let's be honest, what is really at stake besides money?

It feels like an MLG event shouldn't be this boring, underhyped, badly timed, strangely formatted... still, I hope it turns out well for everyone who is watching and for the organizers.

Actually the top 4 are guaranteed to be in Anaheim pools along with fully paid trips to Anaheim and Arena 2. There is a lot at stake beyond prize money. The bottom 4 has to play in the online Invitational to get back into Arena 2.
