It sucks that there are no more zergs, and we like to watch games in which our race is played. This is fairly simple.

Funny how Mvp always manages to cut it close and make it anyway. I won't be surprised if he wins the whole GSL like this.

MVP's tvp is not his strongest but it didn't look weak vs hero. tvp right now is using trickier play and mindgames which naniwa is painfully weak versus. mvp also only has to prepare vs one opponent and with such a momentum on winning vs leenock in that fashion i see him as favored.
we'll see but i hate seeing people write MVP out.

Mvp is amazing at abusing mules on low eco games. Really good understanding of the economy game in tvz at least.

Zergs are doing just fine, they are just under represented in KR, not everything has to be balance related, just look at the recent win rates, ZvT had a 54.5% win ratio for zerg in march, every single thing always has to relate to balance..so annoying.

Fixed that for you.

Thing is though he is going to have plenty of time to prepare and unlike Naniwa he is not going to Dreamhack. So losing to HerO today should not say to much, he has weeks to polish up his TvP and come up with some serieus strats. It's going to be a great match for sure, and i would slightly favor MVP because of that.

Last half year that was all protoss did in LR threads..

And if you're a toss have you even noticed the "Sad Zealot fan club" yeah. When no protoss got into the r8 it was a lot of butthurt tosses. Just accept that the race need buffs (just like toss needed when there were no in the r8)
You are one butthurt zerg aren't you? Holy good god that's a lot of biased whine.
On topic: great to see MVP come through again, ive missed my ridiculously good terran buddy in the top8!

There was a point when something similar was happening with protosses and MC was about the only exception sanding out and managing to get especially far multiple times. For reference, checking a section of the OP in this thread: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=255254 + Show Spoiler +A Personal Plea From Techno To Protoss Players: Protoss Underpowered is the flavour of the past month or so. This is fueled by GSL caliber Protosses not occupying 1st place on the podium. Make no mistake, if MC won GSL Code S, no matter his playstyle, this theme would not be half as popular as it is with MC in code B. I say: "Fuck MC! Make your own Protoss!". We've seen Zerg evolve immensely in the time since release, the same is possible for Protoss. I'm not going to sit here and tell you how to play, but I am gonna tell you how to think; "Like a champion". What makes Starcraft awesome? Metagame changes. This "lull" in Protoss victories (at the highest of highest level), is merely an oppurtunity for the lesser known, younger, ballsier Protosses to come out of the shadows and wow everyone with new playstyles. Embrace your failures, my friends. You would appear to have a personal problem with zergs, whether you lose to them often, or perhaps you win often, but your playstyle is an especially dislikeable one in some way that gets you a particular amount of whine from zerg opponents. Either way, the issue apparently lies with you, not them. Work on your current inability to look at similar situations applying to different races.
EDIT: On April 19 2012 23:09 give.ViviD wrote to DrPandPhD: You are one butthurt zerg aren't you? Holy good god that's a lot of biased whine.
What the fudge kind of response is that? The start was opinionated and you can disagree wand call THAT whine, but he's damned right about The Sad Zealot Fanclub. The situation in the GSL for zerg is currently pretty similar to that of protoss quite some time ago.

He will most likely be resting as his condition doesn't stem from his wrist injury but actually his spine (he said this in the ro32 interview). He skipped out on IPL4 just so he could rest weeks before GSL started. But I'm sure he will still be formulating strategies for the match.

Soon Jaedong and Savior will be switching over to sc2 so GSL will have zerg stars soon enough.
Anyway, to those saying mvp won't win against Nani, HAHAHA. Mvp is now discussing strategy and playing with Flash. Game over Nani.

Mvp vs Leenock is a beautiful thing
The only bad part of that series is it was only a bo3
|
i am a huge mvpfan, but seriously, we need drg, leenock, nestea back in code S and losira needs code A badly.
but for this season, MVP gogo! though i would allow naniwa to win if he in turn takes the championship... xD

Game never will be balanced, if Blizzard doesn't remove/replace the Mule or chance some Resources mechanics. I say this from 2 years.
1 season, there are not toss 1 season, there are not zergs
Terran are always there, in 2010, 2011, 2012.
Will see in HotS.

No. Just no. I know you're from sweden and all (and some am I) but take of your fanboy blindfold and see the light mate.

If mules will be removed, you have to remove chronoboost and larva inject as well
