Also, JYP vs MC at HSC4. Fucking awesome series, if you like tense, knife-edge play.

Yes but Nestea crushed Losira in a group of really entertaining and interesting games.

It would be cool to have a PvP GSL finals. Say what you want but the Losira Nestea finals really brought a lot of new strategies to ZvZ
I want to see what can 2 top Toss can do with all the preparation I actually agree with this!

65 roaches on you door at 12 minutes disagrees with the statement.
Not complaining tho, each race has his good timing attacks.

That was one of those kind of silly games though that never seems to get replicated outside of ladder practice sessions. The best PvP I've seen in tournaments recently-ish was probably the MC vs JYP series at HSC, or at least the one that struck me as memorable. PvP really is a radically different matchup to almost any other in the game and I find it good to watch for a that reason.

Let MMA win I want 2 see his beautiful TvZ!!

PvP can be a really great matchup indeed - JYP vs MC anyone? I think it was IEM? Such a treat it was...
//edit: Seaswift is right - it was HSC IV - not IEM I falsely mentioned

MMA goes banshees a lot these days.

Yeah but the games themeselves were kinda interesting. We got to see Nydus,Mutas, and 6 Pools. Oh and Mass Overseers into permablocking larva injects into a timming push.

I agree. Top level PvP is extremely interesting to watch. Top-level control and long macro games are awesome. I personally find it much more enjoyable than ZvZ

MMA could have saved both banshees.

I think the most entertaining/tense part of that series was waiting to see if Nestea could take the title without dropping a single game in his entire run

We were saying that last GSL and MC still remains the only Toss to win a GSL. Perhaps this month us Aiur-folk will manage it, Parting's probably looked the strongest so far but his PvP looks a bit iffy. Guy apparently thinks his PvZ is actually his best matchup, judging by his PvT that's a terrifying prospect! That's incorrect, actually. Last season, you were defeated by DRG 0:3 quite handily I made too many mistakes. I’d never been nervous since my debut match but in ro8, I was so nervous. I couldn’t defend against attacks that I should have been able to and overall, just made a lot of mistakes. Since then, my vZ had gotten worse. Also, last season, not meeting a lot of Zergs, my practice against the race was lacking. However, lately, I am practising my vZ a lot so I can win against most Zergs. I can’t say that for DRG but he’s no longer in this season. So I am glad. From http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=328331 My 30 hours of not sleeping are catching up with me, as you didn't utilise quotation marks I thought you were initially invalidating my posts on account of me being defeated by DRG 3-0. Sadly for variety's sake the chances for him to show off these newly developed PvZ chops seem to be hanging on a knife-edge given how Zergs have done this season. Plus it deprives us of TvZ No, lack of sleep was not the issue there as I read it the same way at first... though I don't actually ever sleep so maybe I am suffering from lack of sleep also. Does it affect your SC? Mine's got to the stage where I pretty much am unable to play, the worst example of which was playing PvT yesterday and forgetting the FIRST pylon. Curse my habits and general physiology. Also I would love to play DRG damnit, 0-3 would be a good result for me in that.
xD
I don't actually get tired except right after I eat so as long as I don't play after eating then everything is fine.

Hrm. No upgrades started yet for MMA?

Awesome constructive comment. Thanks for stopping by. Yeah and the thousands of balance whine posts are very constructive, no? Seems like the being constructive is of little importance in this thread.
It's an LR thread -- it's basically a slow chat room. There are some actual live reports (though not today it seems like), some useful comments, some real discussions, and a whole lot of whining and useless posting. Making another useless post pointing out how many useless posts there are isn't very helpful -- everyone realizes it already; if people really whine too much, they get banned, but most of it is harmless (if inane) chatter.
Personally I like keeping the LR thread open to get bits of info that the casters don't talk about, and for those moments when you just want to share that feeling of "OMG that was awesome!" / "Wtf was that? -.-" So the thread does serve its purpose, and the OP is extremely useful as well.
