He made it this far in this tourney based on the merit of his tvt with the one group play tvz he played against a foreigner and not winning by a wide margin. | ||

Well, you're right on all accounts, although I want to add that both Thorzain and Stephano has made developments to the meta-game that changed the way SC2 is played in korea as well. Losing to the very best terrans is what zergs do, after all On the other hand it is obviously true, that the best play is seen in the GSL. But I get the most excitement from the quick-and-dirty weekend tournaments, and I fear for those once the Korean dominance really sets in. | ||
