Curious is in Code S for so long. got to RO16 in S1 .... Bomber is not that good in GSL, but he is doing so good in GSTL vs code S players, so he is top level korean too. All these are code S players for sure! Bomber is really bad against Zerg, look at his game versus Stephano and Idara, he had practically no micro. Against Idra he had to presplit his marines, while good tvz players can split on the spot. He made it this far in this tourney based on the merit of his tvt with the one group play tvz he played against a foreigner and not winning by a wide margin.

And MMA didn't scout what it's coming until it hits.

Stephano would have had a Squirtle-Alive-Grand Final route instead of Nestea and MMA, would have been his tournament to lose at that point. lol? Stephano can't beat either of those players, especially Squirtle. If you truly were a Stephano fan you would know that Stephano cannot beat Squirtle.

The colossus is one of the most poorly designed boring ass unit, I thought this was uncontested. There have been numerous polls, I think even one that Blizzard conducted lol.

Also, they put the largest amount of effort in starcraft, I like to see effort well rewarded. Well, you're right on all accounts, although I want to add that both Thorzain and Stephano has made developments to the meta-game that changed the way SC2 is played in korea as well. I think the very best foreigners have distinctive qualities where they shine, also compared to the Koreans. But without a doubt, the best players are Korean, although I'm not ready to say that Stephano couldn't be one of them. Losing to the very best terrans is what zergs do, after all ![]() On the other hand it is obviously true, that the best play is seen in the GSL. I watch it regularly, not least because I gamble quite a lot on SC2 matches, and they are often impressive (and often not). But I get the most excitement from the quick-and-dirty weekend tournaments, and I fear for those once the Korean dominance really sets in.

MVP made lots of bunkers and had a huge concave and vikings. It really depends of the map, and Squirtle hits earlier but with upgrades and blink. I think his build just isn't figured out yet.

Decent enough point though, open bracket isn't its own tournament. But I still think Huk easily could have come out and, if he had, he would have done decently in groups. again, i didnt say he didnt do well. i just consider the fact that he didnt make it out of open bracket getting eliminated really early. if you think not getting out of open bracket is not early then thats fine. its just semantics.
