Immortals and bust.
Mech is HARD countered with any composition past midgame and easily countered midgame with good scouting and sensible decisions. It works for timings before charge/blink/enough Immortals, but it's not a stable long term strategy.

People saying that mech is viable in Protoss need to watch more games. Other than 1/1/1, the MMA 3 siege-tank for defense of 2nd expo or odd timing builds (where you either win the game or transition out into MMM), it is easily countered and/or MMM is a lot better.
If the Protoss knows you're going for a mid to late game mech army, they just mass up on Immortals and charge-lots and lols over your 200/200 army.

I just find it funny when people say mech is so bad vs Protoss. Tanks give me so much trouble its ridiculous. What I think Terran may do in the future is do the same MMM ball with a couple tanks mixed in. Just a couple tanks create so many problems.

It's the one of the odd timing builds I referred to. If you don't kill the Protoss, you're not going to be able to get that army back up before you lose.

I don't understand how people can say its a bad strategy. Sound clearly prepared the build and practiced it to snipe, if he didn't think it were extremely strong, he wouldn't have done it.
