So, Alive had one good GSL run and he automatically becomes the best mech player? MVP won 3 GSLs, Blizzcon and an MLG and dominated for far longer, Alive had one good run and he didn't even win GSL. Despite him slumping a bit now you can't just disregard MVP, until Alive show's more consistency you could just say his run now was a fluke. You can't definitely say Polt's bio is number one either, while I love his play lot, and his performance at ASUS RoG was inspirational, he hasn't really be very consistent. He won the Super Tournament, kind of disappeared then had a strong showing this year with ASUS RoG. Meanwhile MKP made it to the final or 3 GSLs, the first player to do so, despite not winning, made several other good runs, participated at MLG Orlando and Providence, also going deep, won MLG Winter Arena and took forth at HSC4. You could make a case for them being close, but its definitely not as one sided as you make it look. I could even argue for MMA being better then Alive based on past performances since MMA won a GSL, an MLG, Blizzcup, and had several good runs, including a top 2 finish at an MLG and a top 2 finish at the GSL Super Tournament. Your post was made on the back of some recent performances and disregards almost everything else like past results. It holds no substance to back it up. If you hate on MMA I honestly can't understand why since he is one of the most likable and talented players out there and he has one of the best play styles possible. If you want to cheer for Alive and Polt then do so without taking a dump on talented and hard working players like Puma and MMA, who have actually had far greater performances then Alive so far. And if you want to try, at least back up your pathetic statements with some facts, and by giving credit where it's due. LOL, wall of text, didnt read. I never claimed the best Terrans IN THE HISTORY, just current shape TvT gosus. Dont get sentimental if your Idol wasnt among them. User was warned for this post

Winter Assembly, IPL3, ESWC, IEM Kiev, IEM Guangzhou, MLG Global Invitational, MLG Providence, MLG Orlando, DreamHack Valencia all had at least one Foreigner in the Final. I believe that makes 9 major Tournaments in the last 8 months.

Has he even played in the actual tournament GSL apart from qualifiers? Why count his skill based on non-existant matches? Because GSL had preparation time, something we don't know I'd PuMa is good at. That said, he should've been invited to the Blizzard Cup for winning NASL2 instead of Polt. It wouldn't tested him in the "learn the shit out of your opponent" play style.

Polt was invited to the Blizzard Cup the same reason MMA was. They were consistent and had been doing well in the GSL for the entire year of 2011 and had won various tournaments to prove it. If Puma beats MC, he probably should get a spot, but who knows. It's definitely between Polt, Puma and Naniwa. If they want the two BEST players, it's Polt and Puma. If they want the viewers, then it's Naniwa and one of Polt/Puma.

I think if GOM wants mass viewership, Stephano would be a batter choice over Naniwa. Plus Stephano won more than Naniwa.

What amazes me most though, is how in the hell does LoL have 120k viewers? Kinda sad that SC2 is getting crushed in viewers like that. I had no idea LoL was so popular to watch.

Puma also has a super strong TvP, up there along with MKP and Polt. Expect it to be much, much closer. Judging off his performance against JYP it might not get there. Both of them got supply blocked badly so many times it was mindboggling, if Puma does it again he might just get ran over before it comes down to fully developed tech 200/200 army clashes. Really don't know what was going on there but it seems to be his Achille's Heel and seems to have cost him a lot of games he could have otherwise taken in a dominating fashion.
