In my opinion watching Koreans rofl stomp the shit out of foreigners is fun to watch. And its been more exciting when a foreigner can put up a fight and possibly even win. For example: Ret vs Mvp, Demuslim vs NesTea, Naniwa vs NesTea, etc.

If Puma wins tomorrow it should be him and Polt.
If not then Polt and I guess either Naniwa or Puma anyway. There's not really an outstanding candidate outside of Polt.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was just Naniwa and Xigua anyway though.
Even if Puma doesn't win, he still. in my opinion, deserves the seed over Polt. Why? Because he has had consistently high results at major foreign tournaments. Polt did win Assembly, which is a huge win. But the rest of his foreign accomplishments have been winning online cups. Puma got 3rd at Assembly, but also at least 2nd at IEM WC (which holds more weight than Assembly). Furthermore, he won both NASL tournaments, and 2nd at Dreamhack.
Unfortunately, there seems to be a lot of hate directed at Puma for various reasons (his controverisal transfer to EG, his perceived "cheesiness", being on EG). He is a really great player and seems like a modest and humble guy, and I think he should get a seed. He can compete with Code S heavy-weights (just beating MMA, beating DRG at Dreamhack, beating MC).

Way, way less people want to see foreigners vs foreigners than Koreans vs foreigners.

Why the hell are they having the finals at 9:45AM local? What's up with Euro tournaments being so early? You'd think they'd want to have it during primetime to get more viewers.

Why would people hate on PuMa for being on EG? Of anything, they should like him for being on EG since Alex Garfield kicked that orb kid out. Also players play to win and PuMa just used a winning start, the 111

so 9.45 CET Finals begin or?

I'm throwing out possibilities. But Huk did get a lot of flak for transfering to EG, and there is a surprising amount of Huk-hate out there that I doubt would have happened if he was still on Liquid (such as people saying Huk's last MLG run was just luck). It's ridiculous, but there probably are people who believe that EG is truly evil, and not just a name or image.

Everytime puma doesn't make it to a final you always have people saying he regressed and they usually place that blame on EG. No other Korean who went to a foreign team seems to get this criticism at the magnitude puma gets it. No other Korean also gets criticized as much as puma for being cheesy even though a lot of them are cheesy. I'm still trying to figure out if its because people don't like puma or EG...

why should it be between puma and polt? it SHOULD be them two who get it, Naniwa doesnt deserve a code S seed, the seeding are good idea for gaining viewers, but give them code a, not up and down and definately not code S unless, they prove by winning a major (heavily korean) tournament there good enough ,

It should be between the two of them. But it might not be, especially if we look at last season's seeds. So then, if there is only 1 seed between them with the other going to a foreigner, I feel that Puma is more deserving that Polt.

I still do not think that foreigners should receive seeds period. People should have to work their way up to Code S. But it is quite enjoyable to see the likes of HuK, IdrA, and Sen get completely demolished.

There will only be one stream for all finals, so Starcraft 2 finals will be played after CS 1.6 and the main stage finals will end with the LoL finals. Everything must be finished before cebit closes for the day.
At 9:45 there will be the game for 3/4 place.

wow Idra called it right o.o that Puma would beat JYP and MMA... that makes Puma look so much more solid; he always had some solid runs outside Kr, but always lost in qualifiers for Code A... beat MMA = big feat

It's kind of funny about idra. I dislike him as a player, but he rocks as a caster!

Polt just goes to assembly, and he won. The comparison in that aspect its bad. If Puma wins IEM WC, then we are talking about a just comparison in favor of Puma.
Also, the hate about EG its a bad argument, the last code S seed was for Idra, EG player.
I really hope, Polt and Puma get the seed.
