If they want the viewers, then it's Naniwa and one of Polt/Puma. I think if GOM wants mass viewership, Stephano would be a batter choice over Naniwa. Plus Stephano won more than Naniwa.
Depends if Stephano wants to go to Korea, which I don't know yet (does anyone know?)
Also, GO MC!

Stephano wants to make money and in the GSL there's no money for him.

Stephano said on his stream a couple of days ago that he was thinking about going back to korea soon, but he wasn't completely sure. I really hope he gets a chance to play in the GSL if he does go back.

Even if Puma loses to MC, he should get the spot. He's already been passed over last season. Second, it's not just a 3 man race. Don't forget there are many other players in contention. If Stephano were to show interest, he could probably get a spot. Kas did get 3rd at both WCG and IEM Kiev (considering that Sen was given a seed because he got 3rd at Blizzcon and NASL). Dimaga got 2nd at IEM Kiev, losing only to the world's best TvZ player in MMA. He also got top 8 at HSC.

That's not his top priority right now. He's not like Naniwa in that regard. Winnings > Skill and getting better

winter arena stephano made the final my bad got owned 4-1. he had the easiest bracket ever in IPL3 and won a zvz vs an unknown korean what a boss. not. IEM kiev the play off bracket made it impossible for an all korean final dimaga still got slapped down in the final. IEMgaunshou their were only 3 koreans in the comp and 2 of them faced off in the quarterfinals. MLG providence naniwa is pretty much korean now.. Huk won Orlando he is def korean by now. Thorzain won Dreamhack after just geting back from korea. so out of all them comps that had foreigners in the finals 3 foreigners won and they had all trained in korea so all i can say is stephano has gained my respect

I think Naniwa is someone driven to become the best, thus he goes to Korea to train with the best. He takes defeat very hard, and is focused on getting better.
Stephano on the other hand, is planning to retire to go to medical school. For him, he might not be in the scene long enough to justify focusing on getting better. Instead, he seems to want to "take his skills to the bank".
Both I think are fair ways to look at it. I like Naniwa's determination to be the best, but I also realize the practicality of Stephano wanting to invest in higher education.

In Stephano wants a Code S seed he will get one. Sadly he doesn't want one and he'd rather just faceroll EU tournaments than try and become the worlds best player.
If Puma wins tomorrow it should be him and Polt.
If not then Polt and I guess either Naniwa or Puma anyway. There's not really an outstanding candidate outside of Polt.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was just Naniwa and Xigua anyway though.

Stephano talks a lot of shit. He clearly cares a lot about the game and isn't purely in it for money.

I think a game with two great players playing is better than a game with two good players playing, or a good and a great player playing.
And as a detail, there are more "great" koreans than there are "great" foreigners, so logically thats why Koreans usually produce better games. Also, your arguement is ridiculous. If we invited only foreigners, than we would just have a lot of good foreigns stomping on mediocre foreigners, how is that any better? (Hint, it's not)
