A thumbs down in his own booth is something else than going into someone elses and dragging his arms up. ... Really?

What a transformation though. From being a fairly mediocre player, with a slightly above average PvT, clinging to code S through is use of the same old builds *cough 3 gate void ray* he gets deserving sent down to code A, and from the up/down matches the dragon got awoken and it turned out he was a beast in all matchups all along.

They acknowledge when finals aren't good, but do you expect them to say "damn that was a crappy finals", no they're just going to talk about something else. Tonight's series WAS excellent. What is with everyone's strawman argument crap? Did I say they should say "This was crappy?" I said I compared it to "epic!" and "Amazing!" The finals were good. Sure. The complaint was about everything being "The best ever", not "they should say this is crappy". Read and respond to what is actually said if you want to make an arugment, please. Not what you wanted to hear.

I would suspect so too. Anyway, can we leave the pitchforks to Reddit please?

Nobody asks them to say the finals were shit. They werent, it was fairly entertaining but certainly not "the best finals ever". Sports commentators can spin storylines and plays a little but they dont make obvious lies to hype a product.

Cause MKP already won that too. 2) Beating a champion in a special event doesn't make it a major championship. MKP definitely still the King of Kongs. Also don't forget that DRG at the time he was facing MKP knew that he was up for a GSL grand final match in the near future and was probably heavily focusing on his ZvP at that time. Whether MLG is a major championship or not is up for discussion, but that no "major championship" weighs closely as much as a GSL one is not.

I agree with Xax actually. Friends or not, if I'm one of the sponsors I wouldn't want to see the final competitors trivializing the moment by these sort of antics. If I'm GOM, I wouldn't want them doing it either. Not a HUGE deal either way, but I can see why it would turn some people off.

You can clearly see that Genius has the talent to go up there. It's his blink micro, imperfect forcefields and lack of solid decision making that cost him the finals. I argue that Genius practicing more could be a really strong contender for both the protoss and the GSL throne. Best of luck to both of them

If it was an issue they're would be a rule about it and Drg wouldn't have done it. This is for anyone saying it "affected" Geniuses play. Well under any other circumstances I would say that´s a bullshit move, but they are teammates and obviously friends so whatever. Whether it affected him, no idea. But his decisions or rather undecisiveness was really, really a huge factor...
