So if Genius wins, March will be the month of the SC2 Protosses.
This GSL could be quite historic, first, that it's the first quarterfinal without the old standbys for so long, and then this. Perhaps sc2 will have a Legend of March to match BW's Legend of the Fall : P

Genius needs to win. Been a long time since we had a Protoss champion. but ... but ... but ... we need DRG to win. for the zergys, u know? ^_________________^
Last Protoss champion was March of last year. You Zergs have it a bit better, last Zerg champ being in July

He lost due to nerves and some bad mistakes like showing the voidrays and not watching the ramp. You guys are funny.

There's a very easy way to settle this dispute. Terran will simply win again. ^_^

well, one side of this medal is puzzle just playing absolutely poorly yesterday.
DRG just plays brilliant. Everything he does, is so well thought out and executed, he really plays near perfection. Parting wasn't that bad as the result may suggest. He lost the 2nd game to a missed forcefield and the third game was pretty close too. Skillwise he is very close to DRG, but today DRG just got the better end of him. And MC...... well his PvP is too 1dimensional, I think. He's not that good at these mindgames Genius played with him today. And going back in the 3rd game, totally missing his timing where he could have done something, well was an off day for him again. But I truly don't see a TvT final happen. Genius looked very good against terran, and DRG is DRG, nothing more needs to be said. Didn't see aLive play a TvP for a long time, so it's hard to tell. He will be well prepared for sure, but Genius may be too strong.

Which is the other good finals so I can go watch the vods?

Still lost 0-3. He broke down, sure, but if he was good enough to be the best Protoss in the world he wouldn't have.

On the other hand the PvZ is the story of the tournament after the Ro32. The semi-finals will determine whether anyone even shows up for the finals. why? TvT is one of the better matchups. I'd be worried if it was a PvP, or even a PvZ Because Genius and DRG are the star players and their Ro32 group/interview formed a hilarious rivalry that has been one of the stories of the tournament. aLive and Gumiho were just one of many Terrans until now.

MMA vs MVP was extremely one-sided, but it was also really good.

Jjakji vs Leenock best GSL finals ever, even counting blizzard cup (if you just look at quality of play and not storyline)

Are there honestly people here that think DRG would lose to either of the remaining Terrans? We won't see a TvT final guys, not with MMA gone.

I just realised. Out of 4 Protoss in the Ro8, only 1 made it through... and that was in a PvP.

I could definitely see either of the terrans taking out DRG

I would not be so sure, stranger things have already happened in this gsl (my poor liquibets).
Gumiho plays somewhat similar to MMA so it could be a very interesting semi-final vs DRG.

You're right, the overlords were killed, that's the reason why he went for a stargate before expanding. Hmm. I'm fairly certain the observer was pointing out that DRG had no vision of a building Nexus just as Parting moved out, and only the lings ran in after Parting moved out. Unless lings ran in once before Parting moved out?

So if Protoss win in march...what do we call it?
If there's Legend of the Fall...we have to call it something badass. Something like "March of the Templar" or something.

From how i see, there won't be a foreigner in code S for a very long time. Not to mention a top four, probably a long dream
