First game was incredibly stupid (it was the crossfire game, right?) Yes, the first game was stupid and the Bel'Shir beach game was also incredbly stupid(hellion ownage with scv train)

JYP is a Code A player, occasionally Code S. MC 2-0ed Parting. Sure, it's PvP, but neither of those games was a BO win, and MC just outclassed Parting in both of them. Parting is really good at PvT, but who isn't at the moment? His PvZ was pretty much untested and he fell apart today, and his PvP includes a 2-1 against SangHo (Code A material) and an 0-2 vs MC. I think if anyone is overrated it is Parting. Genius for best Protoss, MC second, then Parting or maybe Oz. Puzzle coming in 5th. JYP is Code A because he's awful at PvT. His PvP and PvZ are exceptional to watch

He's now proven himself against the top PvP player, MC, top ZvP players, DRG/Nestea and top TvP players, sC and MarineKing. I really like Parting, but damn did he tilt after the first game. After the second game, he literally cried, so there was no coming back for him. I'm actually happy with any final that isn't Alive vs. Gumiho, so that's probably gonna be what happens. I'll reserve my judgement until Genius wins something. A random PvP doesnt mean anything. Next week MC would 3-0 him. This has been shown dozens of times and even incontrol spoke to it's randomness in this thread, One series means nothing either. Is MVP worse than Gumiho? Bank account and golds speak for themselves.

It's similar to Mvp's situation, there's a few players out there who have shown higher capabilities in some aspects when on form, but no-one has ever beaten the consistency of Mvp. I agree MC is the best protoss in the world, but his PvP has been shaky for months now. Whenever I see MC play, the matchup I fear the most is PvP, because in it, MC is actually like in the stone age in regards to builds. He only gets wins because of his superior execution, but in PvP build orders are way more important, which means that since he's behind in the metagame, not even his execution can save him in many situations

The semi-finals will determine whether anyone even shows up for the finals. why? TvT is one of the better matchups. I'd be worried if it was a PvP, or even a PvZ

You also don't seem to realize that I'm a DRG fan and I was happy to see either move on. Your blatant provocation is cute, though. In regards to the games, sure, Parting plays cheesy sometimes, but hey, so does MVP (all-inning Protoss a ton last year) and no one called him cheeseTerran. Why? Because he also showed himself to be capable of great macro games. Same with Parting. As long as cheese isn't something you solely do, you don't deserve such a label. I don't think anyone in Code S deserves to be labelled cheese anything at the moment. The closest we had to a completely cheesy player we have in GSL is Tassadar, and he dropped out 0-2 vs BBoongBBoong.
