Strelok didnt have PC freezes.

This is confirmed ?

He said in chat that he had lag too. So it's wrong to say only Naniwa had lag.

Sorry, but inviting a "star" like Naniwa means nothing. He is doing your tournament a favor. Imagine if MMA just left because the conditions were bad, would you blame him?

the problem is guys like MMA knows what respect is, for a tournament, fans, viewers etc, you're example is sad.

Naniwa is a contender not an entertainer. Be happy that almost everyone will continue to play even under horrible conditions but don't blame Naniwa.

His team and their sponsors will absolutely blame naniwa even if you accept that line of reasoning

e: "Nani is back in the tournament area, checking another PC. He is not officially out of the event."

Probably, but the ones to blame are Blizzard and ESL.

I don't think naniwa realizes anything. He just got a call from a manager or something who told him to stop being a little b.

I think they got a Silver SEA to replace you, no offense ofc.

@ the Nani update, I really hope that it's PC related, really looking forward to good games.

Wow at ignorant people, its an insult to the SEA community.

Wrong. Pro should not be silent if playing conditions are not optimal.

Sure they should. It's called be professional and providing the entertainment that the fans want and sponsors expect.

To what degree? What if a tournament forced them to play one race, without a chair, on the KR server on Steppes of War while lagging.
The pros shouldn't say anything because they're doing what the fans and sponsors want right?
Fuck no, SC2 is about the players more than anyone else.

No, they should be professional, but if they can not play their best because of some outer effects, then they should make it known and somebody ( who is responsible for it ) should fix it. If it is not possible, like in this moment, then the games should be delayed for as long until the lag is fixed.

How can people blame Naniwa? It's his first major tournament in a while, he took a 20h flight to get there. When the game starts the equitment isen't good enought for the pros to even play close to their best. What's the point playing if you cant compete on you're max level due to technical issues?

100% sure Tiger Woods would refuse to play with a broken golf club also.

Fuck you have no idea what you're talking about. It's just rage, he's just being childish like usual.

So you say it never was any lag issues? How you know? Please tell us!

Maybe Naniwa bothered to look at this thread again and saw people weren't 100% behind his stupid antics and decided to give it another go.

For all these stupid analogies people are making they aren't even thinking to realise that it affects both players, Naniwa wasn't at a disadvantage he just hasn't got the mental strength of other pros.

PS: oh god the bass

That's terrible for naniwa, I thought he'd wanted to take a good start in 2012 after all this drama, and this happens. He's in self destruction mode now, he'll soon lose everything, that's really a shame.

Or maybe the the IEM were like "Dude, hold on. Try another PC. If it still lags, you can go, but please just try another PC."
