In the end, all the drama that Naniwa brings up points out some issues with the whole SC2 progaming scene. And that's good, I suppose. Naniwa's just doing the dirty work. :D

It's mostly Blizzards fault and I'm sure the tournament organizers are doing everything in their power to fix things. I mean, everybody is in the same boat you've just got to make the best of it. Having player running around acting divas when attention is needed elsewhere is just rude.

@IntelIEM

So I guess it's a PC problem? I hope so.. and I hope Naniwa recovers from it.

He must have received a call from a man in a suit from Quantic.

yeah probably what happened! -_-

There were 2 players out there:

Strelok giving a good example and showing how a pro SHOULD behave in such a condition.

And unsurprisingly, naniwa showing the exact opposite like the immature child he is. So self-centered with 0 respect to his team, fans, and 'fellow' pro gamers and letting them all down...

I dont think pro gaming is for you if you cant take a little lag because really this will happend again

So disappointed

We have no idea how laggy it is or how many problems there are.
So just shut it if you have no idea about the issues and how serious they are.

No I wont shut up. lag or not it will happend again thats Esport. Naniwa got a horrible mindset you cant be a pro game like that if it isnt lag then its wrong map like MLG or something he is easy to tilt.

That guy could practise 24/7 and he will never get anywhere until he change his mindset..

unprofessional and rude towards Strelok what a selfish child

So you shut up

How can people blame Naniwa? It's his first major tournament in a while, he took a 20h flight to get there. When the game starts the equitment isen't good enought for the pros to even play close to their best. What's the point playing if you cant compete on you're max level due to technical issues?

100% sure Tiger Woods would refuse to play with a broken golf club also.

That's great! I know I said I wasn't a fan anymore a few pages back, but when your a fan, you can help it And I do understands Nani's rage, but upsets me he forfeitet after one game when this issue might desolve after awhile (:
Ok, now nani please just, dont type. Be nice and try your best!

I lost all the respect i had for that guy... what a whiny kid.

Yeah, how dare he request proper conditions to play his profession? Bring the torches!

Are you kidding me ?
Quantic payed his ticket to Kiev and IEM invited him, then he withdraw from a tournament because of " technical problems " ( which can be solved anyways... )

He is just an immature kid. Probably he left because he is pissed that he lost against Strelok.

This! It's OK when he pauses a game for over 20 minutes on a whim and makes his opponent wait, but it's not OK when everyone is playing under the same conditions. He lost to Strelok and his ego couldn't handle it, so he has to throw a hissy fit, as usual.

Naniwa will win this anyway. If you think he will lose to anyone except koreans you must be joking.

i guess his best opponents is himself

i think we should all thank naniwa for sacrificing a prize so we can catch up on the delay

This is actually true, NaNiWa's biggest opponent is himself

I truely believe that a NaNiWa who can keep his head calm belongs to the 5 best players in the world. However it happens too much that he gets his head fucked up

I think either Naniwa realized he would screw over the rest of the players in the group or IEM talked to him more and looked at the pc. 10 second freezes are more attributed to pc issues then 'internet' lag per se.

No, Boxer would just do a strategy that he knows he can pull of even with lag: Bunker rush :p

Wrong. Pro should not be silent if playing conditions are not optimal.
