We don't know what is going on so it's probably wise to chill with the drama. So this little protest made by Naniwa is going to be the voice that is to be sent to IEM and to Blizzard for not being perfect. NANIWA IS NOT A MARTYR AND PEOPLE SHOULDN'T TRY TO MAKE HIM ONE.

The delays affect the mental state and focus of players, cause huge delays and problems for the tournaments and more. Then there is the constant issue with Blizzard having to whitelist events and not doing a good job at that. That some players stay meek and pretend to be blind to the issues at hand doesn't mean it's all fine and dandy. I have been a Blizzard fan my whole life, but it's getting out of hand with the obvious degradation of their online and offline service and support. This combined with a much larger professional gaming scene makes for one bad formula. I do hope that Blizzard is working on a solution for these constant issues, and I fully agree with the decision of Naniwa.

It's a disadvantage, hope Nani stay's in though and otherwise make it a 2/0 for Strelok.

Everyone's under the same conditions and they'll still be a winner. The issues will be worked out before the end of the tourney, nani should've just hung in there but got pissy cause he fucked up vs strelok. Lag doesn't affect everyone in the same way. Players that prefer a more passive macro style will arguably be less affected by lag then players that rely heavily on micro. For example, Goody would, due to his playstyle, not be as affected by lag than a player like MKP. You can still put a ton of tanks in good positions relatively easily with lag, but marine-splitting against speed-banes on creep becomes a whole different matter with lag.
