1st game looked like a lag issue I occasionally have. you go to box your units and it wont let you. you cant add stuff to control groups it's really weird.
I would bet money that the 1st game stalkers sitting there during the fight was lag related.
if it's lag like the kind I am talking about that I've played ladder with before then I would forfeit. It's just infuriating as a player, and why bother playing a competitive game when the winner isn't decided by who plays the best?
and for those saying strelok lagged too, yes but the kind of lag I recall where I couldnt box shit isnt permanent, its every now and then. meaning strelok may not have been having quite same lag problems as nani or just having bad lag at less vital times

Via @IntelIEM WTF naniwa?? you could at least have forfeited before losing to strelok or after advancing from group play, now you are unrightfully taking the win from strelok. ehm, Strelok still gets his win for this, White Ra and Titan gets walkovers http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/IEM_Season_VI_-_Global_Challenge_Kiev

@IntelIEM So I guess it's a PC problem? I hope so.. and I hope Naniwa recovers from it.

Oh really? Yes really, lagg doesn't affect a proxy rush. Haven't most big tournaments lagged in the start by the way? I think so... Quitting everything after 1 match. I'm sure Quantic is happy they payed flight, hotel and everything. LoL Are you for real? Lag doesn't just affect the game itself, but also the mental state of the player. Even if Strelok had the same lag, it doesn't mean he was equally affected. And Nani plays with a micro intensive style, which someone already stated. The tournament winner should be the one who plays the best, and not the one who can play with immense lag and still win.
Totally - Lag is the reason he proxy rushed. He knew he couldn't go for a late game etc because lag would make it a coin toss

LOL Nani is such a troll. :D

NaNiwa fights for the players and everyone here acts like douches because "IT'S DISRESPECTFUL". Tournaments are about the players, they always have been, they always will be. How is it respectful for IEM to invite NaNiwa to then have his game delayec by 2 hours and then force him to play it under a laggy situation. The games were paused multiple times and no one could fix it even. No self respecting player should stand for that kind of shit imo.

Via @IntelIEM I lost all the respect i had for that guy... what a whiny kid. Yeah, how dare he request proper conditions to play his profession? Bring the torches! Are you kidding me ? Quantic payed his ticket to Kiev and IEM invited him, then he withdraw from a tournament because of " technical problems " ( which can be solved anyways... ) He is just an immature kid. Probably he left because he is pissed that he lost against Strelok. He is mad cause he lost to Strelok in a matchup he shouldn't lose and now he would have to play with a handicap for the rest of the tournament. And probably White Ra and Strelok would qualify anyway even if he plays from 0-1.
Yeah, Naniwa is clearly God on the earth and he shouldn't loose any starcraft match...

All right, everyone put away the pitchforks, douse the torches, etc...!

He must have received a call from a man in a suit from Quantic.

Well this situation is completely different from the one in the Blizzard Cup...
A tournament has to guarantee proper playing conditions. And LAG is the worst possible thing that can happen. As TLO said on Apollo's stream, you'd rather play without a chair than with lag, especially as a pro gamer. And when you host a big money offline tournament you have to make sure, that your internet connection is capable enough. REALLY big organisation blunder.
And it doesn't make any sense to discuss which player may be more affected by the lag. It must not happen on a tournament that wants to build up such a prestige like IEM wants. It seems like a fuckin joke to me, to be honest.

Great job Naniwa :D I think he has some serious problems with his mind set.

nani coming back? o.O I guess he wants to rant again after another lag ^__________^
