Please try not to bash players, casters, countries, races, users, balance, apple pie, etc. in the Live Report threads. These threads are not meant for bashing. |

Liquipedia was simply updated with the information at hand. At first it seemed Nani indeed withdrew, so Liquipedia was updated accordingly. When new information became available, Liquipedia was updated. I guess it's not 100% clear what's going on but I think we should just believe the latest info at all times. So for now, he's back in

white ras warp prismn ....so awesome

funny thing: dont see any lag in the next game and because naniwa comes crawling back proves his first reaction (ragequit from the tournament) was total bs

Update:
Liquipedia says:
* NaNiwa was reported to have forfeited after his first game, due to technical issues[7], but was later announced to still being in the tournament.[8]
WTF, someone is trolling us lol

An older pro really ought to sit down with Naniwa and explain to him that the SC2 scene isn't that big. Upset too many tournaments and you'll damage your own career, regardless of skill. Groups for today look good
Just watched white-ra destroy Strelok, that was crazy :D

And unsurprisingly, naniwa showing the exact opposite like the immature child he is. So self-centered with 0 respect to his team, fans, and 'fellow' pro gamers and letting them all down... Wrong. Pro should not be silent if playing conditions are not optimal. Sure they should. It's called be professional and providing the entertainment that the fans want and sponsors expect. To what degree? What if a tournament forced them to play one race, without a chair, on the KR server on Steppes of War while lagging. The pros shouldn't say anything because they're doing what the fans and sponsors want right? Fuck no, SC2 is about the players more than anyone else.
Wrong. So wrong. Sc2 is about the fans. Like every other entertainment industry whether it be NBA, UFC, to Sony Entertainment.

He probably raged and wanted to quit, then he calmed down and asked if he can continue/was convinced by someone to continue.

Im from the Netherlands and i don't give a damn, there's a game being played, how about we talk about that now? >_>

It's more like playing football in the rain. And it's not about the players more than anyone else. It's a symbiotic relationship between players, fans, casters and sponsors. Without all of them none of this is possible. Without players, there is no scene Without sponsors, there is still a scene, it's not funded Without casters, there is still a scene, it's not casted Without fans, there is still a scene, it's not popular
Without the players, you can have nothing else.

if so that´s another blunder of IEM... I usually like those big events but if they screw up they need to feel the heat (just like MLG did when they fucked up - next time everything worked out pretty well after all the shit they reveived)

Don't mind the Swedish Naniwa fanboys, it's not their fault that their national hero is an immature manboy.
