Man this is depressing ![]() If you move out vs someone 1 basing that hard what do you expect. Tasteless was spot on over artosis's brown bias, when you scout someone 1 basing and you've expanded, your supposed to do everything to stay alive because once you do you win.

Not saying MC's way doesn't work, cause I play his way and can get it to work against many terran openers. However to talk about what Artosis said, 1 base colossus vs 1-1-1 i don't think so buddy. But, 2 gate robo is hard counter vs 2 rax, if you know 100% it's gonna be 2 rax, 2 gate robo smashes it, not even close. Not exactly Protoss bursting out on the scene, but 2011 was pretty laughable.

He said in a couple seasons he could get a top 4 because he has POTENTIAL. Plus is was vs Alive who is insanely good and it was a close 2-1 series..

3 protoss 3 zergs 6 terran. So not really extremely imbalanced as it has been in the past.

Only thing worse would be killing his own buildings. I get that but it just seems that, even when hes ahead, the moment he moves out hes caught in a baserace :/ How long is he supposed to sit back there?

1) Brown traded army for SCVs and later Alive got hero EMP off 2) 1 terrible engagement from Alive 3) Brown out of position eventhough he was ahead 2 base vs 1 base

Protoss almost ALWAYS respond to 1/1/1 with collosi. Usually expand first but collosi are definitely the tech tree of choice against 1/1/1

Terran 1-base all in = win Seriously? The map did not matter. The match-up didn't matter. Brown WON THAT GAME. He won. He had two bases and was about to get into higher tech with an extra base against an all-inning Terran who just lost half his army. Brown, for whatever reason, took his army and left his bases wide open to check on Alive's base for some reason. It's like LegalMind took over Brown's body.

Only thing worse would be killing his own buildings. He basically scouted with his entire army instead of an obs/halluc/probe/zealot around the time medivacs come out on probably the best map for terran drops (maybe 2nd after shakuras) Brown essentially did the same thing he did in G1. Did some brilliant, surgical trimming down of Alives troops, but then just moved his army too far in and it just got killed/circumvented. Stuff like that makes reinforces my thought that brown is probably having some nerve issues right now, which is understandable for a guy's code S debut.

Terran 1-base all in = win Brown moved his entire army down the map when he was ahead on bases while Alive dropped two medivacs in his main. His options were a base trade or walking all the units slowly back home, he'd have definitely lost a base trade and also lost by retreating, having said that if he'd not had an artosis pylon powering all his stuff he may have been in better shape

Ironically, Artosis gave the best advice pertaining to this situation: "When you're ahead, get MORE ahead." If the Terran decides to just all-in at that point, which Alive was about to, then he'll get crushed because Brown has 2 bases to 1 and alive missed his timing, plus he lost a significant amount of units already. Brown should've just stayed in his base no matter what.

The moment his economy is so far ahead that he can afford defending properly while attacking, ofc. Or warp prisms.
