How the hell can you even attack in tvp? If you move out you die.. Man this is depressing Why would protoss want to attack if they are ahead in econ? They have a much better 200/200 army | ||

If Alive never attacked and tried to get his natural finally, he would have been so behind that Brown could have attacked at any time with his Colossus and crushed. | ||

Okay, just to clear up confusion in this thread: Brown thought it was probably a 1-1-1 or some similar all in. In this scenario, as a Protoss you have to have your army near their base, control both watchtowers, and chip away/slow down their army with FFs and forcing them to siege/whatever you can do to buy time to get Collosi out. Brown was doing everything right. His army was supposed to be out there. He just didn't have a Pylon on the right side(most protoss do this) and/or an observer to scout for drops. | ||

I think he has the POTENTIAL to become a player like that, but we'll see. He showed a lot of really neat touches, and with some refinement and less nerves he could certainly be up there. | ||

Why do you ever want to attack!? If Alive was still on his only base at 40 minutes then he'd have clearly lost the game, brown didn't need to do anything in that game until Alive either attacked or tried to expand | ||
