The other team decides to take 30 meter shots on the goal every chance it gets, and tries to do a lot of fancy footwork and tricks. Which team do you think will be lambasted by the media? There's also something to be said for NaNi's method of not wasting the audiences time. Most people want to see players try their absolute best or just not play at all. I agree. I don't want to see players just fucking around (ingame) for 30 minutes. I actually turned off this MC vs. MKP travesty. Korean are always professional... hypocrites. I'm sure a lot of people enjoyed that game
Yeah I'd prefer watching a crazy showmatch-style game over nothing anyday. If you don't want to watch it, you can always tune out - but probe-rushing at the beginning of a game denies viewers any sort of game at all. I didn't think what Naniwa did was that bad but it is pretty obvious that it is less acceptable than goofing around with fun builds.

dimaga also has the better mapscore because he went 1-2 vs sound while grubby's loss is 0-2

They are both advancing already so it would be stupid to show serious builds when they might have to play again later on? Anybody complaining should do so on reddit.

If there's high level play, there'll be viewers. Empty tournament games like this are worse than ladder, there's no value in them.
