I'm one of the biggest Liquid fans around, but they got absolutely demolished today and even in best conditions, they would be big underdogs vs QIM's roster.
I think you have to either be pretty blind or at the very least go with an extreme version of heart over brain to pick Liquid as favourites in this matchup. Losing to an all-kill that is not from Nestea, Mvp or possibly Happy or Losira is of course very disappointing, but honestly, the talent pool of QIM definitely dwarfs that of Liquid's.

To put things in perspective, they played like shit, way below their ability, and they lost one series in an online team league.
It hurts as fuck for a fan to see this kind of loss, but it's hardly a big deal in the big picture. It's just like when IM got all killed by qxc to be honest.

HerO just played in 2 tournaments before GSL and never got a chance for practicing his GSL match MEANWHILE asd just sleeped like a boss and watched HerO,prepared his style.

TLPro is supposed to be a news outlet for the team, and even in bad news, they should report it and hopefully encourage their players to do better in the future. But to selectively report only the good news, that sounds like propaganda or something that Fox News would do to me, and I do not believe that Liquid is that type of organization. But it is not a news organisation. I am sure they will report every now and again on losses, especially important ones. They did a piece on Hero losing to Puma in the NASL finals. However, tournaments that are broadcasted three weeks or so after being played I very much doubt. Perhaps they would make a piece if Liquid won, hell, they might even surprise me and put up something about this match, but I cannot imagine it is something they would prioritise. Furthermore, looking at the amount of work Liquid staff have put in as of late and just guessing at their resource allocation, it would not seem reasonable to expect articles about losing in this kind of tournament at this point in time. Of course they will write about live event wins (or losses) when they have staff at the actual tournament, this kind of stuff is quite different. I guess I just think it is very far fetched to believe that losing this series will demotivate any Liquid player or staff. And likening TLPro to Fox News because they will likely not report on this loss similarly strange.
Eh, I guess Team Arena is not too high on their priority list then. I just liked going on that site and getting all the news about TL without all of the other stuff on the forums. I personally do not mind stories about less than positive news, since every victory become mores triumphant when there is a loss before that the team overcame.
As for the Fox News thing, there is a distinction between failing to report a story due to agenda, and not reporting just because of insignificance. And since it seems that Liquid is the latter, the comparison does not stand. I hope no one was offended or took it personally.
