Currently HerO,Ret,JinrO,Zenio is on their best conditions.
Please stop this ridiculous bias. Hero and Zenio can't even maintain Code A spots. IM has like 4 (or is it 5 now?) Code S players. They would still get stomped. Plus I don't see how Zenio and Jinro are on their best condiditions when Zenio just lost in Code A and Jinro hasn't..........................? You should watch Jinro's stream and ESV korean weekly. Jinro played close games against SlayerSTaeja,he is improved soooooo much and slowly backing his old days. Zenio just lose to MKP.(this guy only lose BoX TvZ against NesTea) and HerO... Sweden(Dreamhack) > USA(NASL) > Korea(GSL) what do you expect? He did pretty well for his busy schedule. and i'll also point out that Jinro lost to an unknown zerg less than a week ago. zenio got steamrolled by Bomber on live stream. Hero is their best shot. I don't know about hero. He's amazing don't get me wrong, I saw him stomp tons of foreigners in Dream Hack and NASL but then he gets rolled by asd? Seriously? HerO just played in 2 tournaments before GSL and never got a chance for practicing his GSL match MEANWHILE asd just sleeped like a boss and watched HerO,prepared his style. Sick. Haha I know your trolling but I'm going to answer this. If hero only cares about money, then doing tons of foreign tournaments is great. If he wants to be considered a top level korean, he's gonna need consistently good results in the GSL. That's just the way it works. Trolling? Are you serious? im a big teamliquid fan and proud with it. See you at GSL 2012,HerO will shut your mouth. Just like he did tonight amirite? Losing one game(not even BoX) against SaSe make him a bad player? you are such a bad troll.
Haha I'm just teasing bro! I sure hope hero does well in the gsl. I'm a huge fan of his! That doesn't mean I ignore reality.

In all honesty, it's been a tough few months for Liquid. There was once a time when Liquid dominated the foreign scene, and Jinro was over in Korea doing very well in the GSL (back to back semis). Now look at them. Hero's been doing pretty well, but his wins were largely against foreigners (except Puma at DH). But Jinro cannot even qualify for Code A anymore, Tyler and TLO have not had results in months. Haypro had a good MLG Providence, only to get knocked out in the first round at DH. Ret's been doing decently well, but not anything really impressive. Huk plays for EG now. It's been tough for Liquid, and now this. just saying. It is really easy to be blinded by how fantastic Hero looks in a lot of games and believe that he is a semi-invincible monster that cannot be defeated. He absolutely lacks consistency and even his PvZ, which looks so awesome, can and will fall to both cheese and well executed mid-game pressure. He has attained somewhat consistent place in Code A, and obviously has a chance of even getting to Code S this season, but by no means would I be counting on it. Furthermore, he obviously has nerve issues, which it would be reasonable to expect being exaggerated by playing televised in Korea, which while not as big as far as live audience goes as Dreamhack or MLG, must feel like a more prestigious event.
So yeah, Hero can be sniped, Hero absolutely makes bad decisions and will lose because of these things. His choice of map as well as build order on TDA was very strange for example. But his potential should not be denied just based on his GSL results. Of course, whether he is a true Korean great will depend on those results, but time will tell. Making snap judgments because of this result? That is almost as non-sensical as believing that Liquid would be favoured to win against QIM.

Liquid are very big underdogs in the torny but that does not mean anything if these games were played 1-2months ago then you should see that players are unmotivated and these games mean nothing...
Spoiler of Games tonight + Show Spoiler +Jinro -> Always hated TvP and it was just bad 1st pick, he has a long record to loosing to Sase along with that, He is not well rounded in matchups
Sheth played horribly there imo. the casters said he was playing fine and Sase was playing brilliantly but really Sheth was just loosing units back to back with controls and not paying a attention to his units..
Tyler -> Major Lead with great control at the start but then his the casters did not mention that his obs got snipe so he could not pressure at all. if he was to blink in the dark that would be dumb and risky.
Ret -> Build order lost, along with "no overlord scouting the general area"(This may be false)
Hero -> okay he just was ignorant, but would love to get a word of his play / idea for doing that build in such a risky game.
Please note im taking nothing away from Sase, he is amazing player and won the games.
Fast forward a 1.5 Months + Show Spoiler +Jinro -> Going in minitornies , plays are going much better motivated
Sheth -> Best he has ever been, his ZvP as been decreasing though but his ZvT is amazing at the moment
Tyler -> Is starting to play again more and more each day and is improving but is still weak as player because of his medical condition as of late
Ret -> 20Games >/= A day when he barely plays
Hero.... -> Please note if you think Hero is unable to beat SaSe, or any one on IM you are ignorant. He beats these players constantly on stream(Yah its practice but does not mean he is not capable of it) but what it comes down too is... Nerves making him the ace player on TL puts x10 more pressure and his dreamhack win gave the other 6 Players more motivation to play.
Now they vs Regin, which was played today or yesterday I believe but not positive They have a new player able to be played Sheth and Ret are better and top of their game Hero is stronger in overcoming nerves much better Along with there oldies playing much more they will be fine...
Tl;dr -> its no biggy every team performs poorly in life.. -_-

To put things in perspective, they played like shit, way below their ability, and they lost one series in an online team league. It hurts as fuck for a fan to see this kind of loss, but it's hardly a big deal in the big picture. It's just like when IM got all killed by qxc to be honest.

LOL this guy...first he says TL would win against every SC2 team in the world, after losing to one player, he goes on to say that they'll win from the loser's bracket...just fyi, Mouz got knocked into the loser's bracket too. and thorzain, morrow, mana, and hasuobs are all great players.
-_- yeah you and muk should totally hook up god, i don't even know why im arguing, hero's the only one worth watching right now from TL, cuz hes so fucking good, but him against a FOCUSED polt, mvp, or hell even puma? ... I would love Hero to play like 200 practice games against a focused Mvp or perhaps even more so ForGG. Would be very good for his PvT. :D Would also like the same for Sase. haha good point, but i meant in a tournament matchup

You're saying this as though it disproved anything I said. Of course Liquid is a great team, noone's saying otherwise. Seriously lol, I've cheered for anyone with the Liquid tag 7 years longer than Muk has been a member of this site.
Of course Hero can take games off anyone in IM, hell Haypro's shown that the can. But a favourite over IM + Sase? Not even close.
They're going to be heavily favoured against Reign and I'll be cheering for them to the end. I'm glad you are as well, but seriously, stop the blatant fanboyism.

Yeah I know. I would never bet on Hero against Mvp, neither would I against Puma, though to be fair I would be on the losing side of that based on the last three tournaments. Polt though, I don't know, I guess right now I would be betting on Hero. Might get a look at that in Up and Downs. But his PvT is not looking solid, not because he cannot win but mostly because it seems like he has not found a way to play it out without taking major risks in the early game.
But I find it hard to really bet on Hero in high pressure games just because of nerves anyway.

as much as sase is great, those games were not even close to good. hero is also not very good in teamleagues and he didnt play tal'darim pvp right at all. it's almost like he just wanted to see if it was possible you can do anything else on tal'darim and treated this like a practice test run.

So no that eliminates an all kill for TL though both could all kill TL lol an Nani, Destiny, and SaSe are fucking god monsters an could match up easily against anyone on TL so no you're wrong and as I said funny joke bro tell it again?

Impressive play by SaSe. Was too bad Tyler didn't hold on though, SaSe was way too overconfident and came out way behind after his warp prism attack attempt. Also, Hero just had a pretty bad build order or misread SaSe's build I guess.

eh, I think Hero is capable of taking down MVP and NesTea though he would be considered an underdog. Also why you are putting Naniwa, Destiny, and SaSe on the same level? I don't think Destiny is quite up there yet.

Im just saying you possibly QIM line up if SaSe ended up with losing:
SaSe Destiny Horror Younghwa Happy/LosirA
what happens when MVP playing? -TL still has a decent chance since bo1
and NesTea? -NO possibly way for NesTea playing on NA server team tournament.
also @Catatonic i lol'd,keep wear your horse glasses.
