I thought Hero would bring it back, seeing as he's a tier or two above the other Liquid players except maybe Ret and Zenio, but Sase just scorched everything :|.

When was this played? If it was with cross server with SaSe playing from korea it's even more impressive.

SaSe played with the NvMacSed account at least vs Jinro, so he was in Korea at the time, yes.

You say this as if SaSe didn't play great. Good job to SaSe for the all-kill and it was kind of a poor showing for TL.
Edit: I am a guilty SaSe fanboy.

Everyone four gates on TDA. I wonder what HerO was thinking.

Was it Bischu who specifically picked this TDA and then DIDN'T 4gate, and then won? And someone last night went 3 gates vs 4 gate and won too

Aside from the Tyler match, they were all very one-sided. I meant that they weren't good from a spectator's point of view. But yes, SaSe played great.

Too bad, was hoping to see TL take this, but I guess there's still the lower bracket.

Also, well played by SaSe those games ^^.

How is this unexpected? Sase is a great player. He's easily favored against Jinro, Sheth, and Tyler. What's the mystery? Versus hero is kind of a toss-up (pun unintended), so it kind of makes perfect sense when you think about it, right?

Even if he would be favored against all players, its really hard to actually go 5-0.

I hope that this loss encourages Liquid to work harder, rather than discourage them.

I doubt TLPro will even run an article of this episode, considering that there was no news of Hero and Zenio's losses in Code A, yet minutes after Hero won DH, the news was up.

and people say TL is EGs rival herO is EGs rival

LOL so true haha
and its sad that huk and puma can both beat hero somewhat consistently (MLGs, NASL) T__T

Wait what? Three last tournaments, HuK is 50/50 in matches, Puma is 33/67. I would personally favour HuK in general vs Hero and possibly also Puma, though in neither case due to skill level alone.

On the other hand, it is really grating to listen to commentators you do not really agree with or whose analysis is not spot on when the players you are rooting for are losing. Most of the time it is alright if no personal sentiment is invested, but it becomes monumentally more annoying when things are not at all going your way.

Spider senses are tingling at the thought of a SaSe all kill. PvP on Tal'Darim...hmms.

ONLY against hero, at MLG huk 2-0 vs hero and beat him in some other tourny, puma 3-4 at DH, 4-2 at NASL.

HuK beat Hero at Providence, Hero HuK at Orlando. Puma beat Hero at NASL, Hero Puma at Dreamhack and Providence.

Guess calling Hero v HuK 50/50 was not entirely justified, is 2-3 in games. Oh well. Really disappointing showing by Liquid, perhaps especially Ret and Sheth who did not look good in any way whatsoever. And Hero's build order was incredibly strange on TDA, but oh well. The two other losses were kind of expected.

Really well played by Sase though, hats off to him.

Damn son. I like Sase but TL disappointing here. Sheth, Hero, and Ret (also Zenio?) should all be able to stop him and he just plowed through. Only good news is that Tyler is practicing enough for TL to field him.

I feel like Tyler was the only player that actually came to the game prepared in the first place.

Nazgul should dish out some whippings. -_-
