I was hoping that Jjakji would beat my liquibet and win, but DAMN he looked way too good to be true. :>

Artosis is never wrong. Every person he expects to win the GSL on the day of the final loses.

Wasn't it Sage ? With the epic game 1 on tal'darim, phoenix zealot style.

Jjakji also had an all-kill. vs FXO.

But that FXO wasn't FOu

the sad thing is, Jjakji practicing with Dongraegu for the final, one of the best ZvT and his style is not too different from Leenock, while Leenock ask to practice with Ganzi (one of the better TvZ player), but the FXO coach say no (you can see in the interview after semi final), he have to practice inhouse since the COACH said he is scared that his team tactic might be leaked, and Ganzi have match with some FXO team member later on.

The fact is FXO have not really good TERRAN of Jjakji caliber, Gumiho or thebest might be good but not that good and wtf is the reason for information LEAKED lol. I guess FXO think they got secret power or something LOL.

Agree. Especially that he didn't prepared something "special" so there was nothing to be leaked. A terran can prepare some cheese or special proxy, but I don't see which build a zerg would like to hide. (something like Leenock vs MVP on crossfire perhaps)
Ganzi or MMA would have been perfect practice partners, for at least one or two sessions, even if I don't doubt Gumiho is also a top tier practice partner (he can mech, bio, macro, allin).

On the other hand, I don't think Leenock needed special practice. Mostly mental preparation, build order anticipation (like on crossfire, I feel he should have been better prepared because terran can't play a macro game on this map, all zerg has to do is to survive long enough at any cost. I don't agree with Leenock playing standard here. MKP showed it vs Zenio.).

But overall I don't think special preparation was the problem, Leenock made some mistakes he usually doesn't make, his micro lacked at some crucial point when usually he's a zerg with a terran tier micro. I'll go with nerves going at him. I know he won MLG, which was big, but as Boxer said "The only place where I'm nervous and where my hands are shaking is on the GSL stage".

Wasn't it a mindgame/lie?
I don't think that choya would let Leenock only practice with FXO members, seems weird because you aren't gonna win a final if you don't practice with the best of the best

I'm pretty sure he did.

I caught game 5 and 6. Nothing special there, except for a lot of pretty zergling micro from leenock. IMO SC2 is drying up as the expansion is still far away.

I feel bad for you that you missed the first 4 games.

Well, I've just watched the first game and didn't see anything special either. A baneling "X" misclick, undiscovered terran expo, vikings+ghosts vs BLs final battle. Same old, same old. I only watched several games this season, maybe because of Skyrim, maybe because the game stopped evolving at a somewhat unsatisfying point. Maybe I grew tired of SC2 because I've been on it since early beta...
