At the other side, we have some sick foreign protosses and zergs Maybe Thorzain but he's not particularly consistent and seems to really struggle with Z. Jinro's stuck in the Code B wilderness and given the amount of stupidly good players there are still kicking around there I'm not sure if he'll be able to break back through. Demuslim is definitely not close. Foreign Terrans just don't stack up for whatever reason, our toss and zerg are much closer to their KR counterparts. I don't think thorzain can do it. He did pretty well in his time in korea but his record wasn't anything close to code S standard. I think he will be a code A player in korea if he stayed there.
the sad thing is, he's the perfect player to get to the finals. his preparation is un fucking real

that will be legend. With 12 GSL titles a year, (seriously way too much) I would be disappointed if a foreigner didn't win a single title in 2012. With Naniwa, Idra, Huk, Sase, Demuslim(?) and Morrow competing, I'm expecting that title. There are less than 12 GSLs. They take breaks. This one is GSL #7 for 2011. If you count WC and Super Tournament, there were only 9 GSLs this year. I think a foreigner will NEVER win the GSL. Koreans with preparation time are too godly. This is why foreigners look competitive on MLGs and such tournaments, but when koreans are prepared foreigners just can't beat them. Foreigners look competitive in MLG because most of the top koreans are in the open bracket honestly. We will see with the format change. And I don't see how a foreigner could win a GSL since there are twice as more koreans who are as good or better than the foreign ones in the GSL :s. But I think that a foreigner in ro4 is very possible, in the final it may but winning it I don't think so. MorroW looks scary tho, I didn't see the games between him and MaNa but 3-0ing him is not easy task, he should be a total monster after being in korea for several months :D
Well morrow says its impossible to beat sage in practice. So hes certainly very far back right now but practicing with guys like sage will only do him good.

Because he was not playing good at all. But i'm talking about the longhaul. Those guys could actually become really good foreign terrans who can make a splash versus koreans. And i'm sure that there will show up some new players in 2012 who could surprise us all

I know a Terran is awesome when they make me root for them over their Zerg opponent. MVP has done it, MMA has done it, and now Jjakji has done it. He was just so fucking on the ball with damn near everything. Really inspiring play.

Just remembered something neat related to this game; Jjakji all-killed FXO in the team league earlier this year.

whoaaaaaaaaa what? I thought Leenock had this for sure ._______.

Wow so Sage and Jjakji, both from NsHs, dismantled the two teams which formed modern day FXO.
That's something.
FXO is really quite a fascinating story. Woah, i had no idea Wolf's name was actually Wolf. Herp.
