That's something.
FXO is really quite a fascinating story. Woah, i had no idea Wolf's name was actually Wolf. Herp. Wolf's name is Wolf?
Interesting...

Artosis wrong? Impossible.

Holy jesus that was a beautiful grand finals! Jjakji and Leenock both played amazing games, definitely the best GSL yet!
|
Shame i missed the finals .
But man Jjakji won!? I need to start watching the dude more.
Thought Leenock had this

the sad thing is, Jjakji practicing with Dongraegu for the final, one of the best ZvT and his style is not too different from Leenock, while Leenock ask to practice with Ganzi (one of the better TvZ player), but the FXO coach say no (you can see in the interview after semi final), he have to practice inhouse since the COACH said he is scared that his team tactic might be leaked, and Ganzi have match with some FXO team member later on.
The fact is FXO have not really good TERRAN of Jjakji caliber, Gumiho or thebest might be good but not that good and wtf is the reason for information LEAKED lol. I guess FXO think they got secret power or something LOL.

Wow, this sounds like the first good GSL finals.

ahahaha as soon as artosis said that jakji would not win out of the 4 i knew immediately that he would become the champion.
i'm serious. the artosis curse is more accurate than science

Wasn't it a mindgame/lie? I don't think that choya would let Leenock only practice with FXO members, seems weird because you aren't gonna win a final if you don't practice with the best of the best

It was the best finals probably in SC2 history.
I would rank it above MC/Puma and Puma/Hero. The games were at a higher level, the crowd was more responsive, and Tastosis had their passion back at full force. Game 1, 3, 4 and 6 were all must watches and incredibly engaging. Even Jjakji's timing in Game 5 was excellent.
Puma/Hero was really only good for the game seven, and I liked MC/Puma, but it wasn't better than Leenock/Jjakji. Also TvZ is more interesting to me than TvP, so maybe that's why.

Not a single overlord was spared from Jjakji 's wrath today, his dedication to deying scouting and supply blocking leenock was quite entertaining. I have to say I was rooting for leenock but damn Jjakji proved he deserved his win and both players had some amazing games and plays. I want to see more series between these two, given the kind of mindgames that would be going on after something like this.

For me it looked more like a Code A finals, yeah more back and forth but mistakes everywhere.
|
I caught game 5 and 6. Nothing special there, except for a lot of pretty zergling micro from leenock. IMO SC2 is drying up as the expansion is still far away.

Surprised he didn't practise with MVP. And practicing in house may not be the best since Gumiho and Thebest do so many mech plays but jjakji was all about marine tank.
