Same drill as usual: - No caster bashing.
- Excessive tournament bashing that detracts from game discussion will be met with moderator action. Criticism is welcome, whining is not.
- In general do your best to stay on topic and discuss what we're all here for: the games.
Enjoy the games guys. |

More like the best by far I've ever seen( vs curious or some other prime zerg on tal'darim). Orgasmic game. You're talking about the 3-way Phoenix zealot attack reminiscent of the Bisu Build? I think it was in a GSTL game and he wrecked that zerg into qqland lol that game was so epic i don't care if sage loses all his next games. I am still a fan of him because of that game. wasnt that zerg leenock? And he proceeded to wreck sC right after in the NSHS vs fOu GSTL match It was sirius. Sage then proceeded to beat down Asd, Sc and Leenock to win the gstl match for NSHS.

Seeing as how demographics for eSports fans usually turn out (aka college-aged guys), it's not at all surprising to see that there just aren't that many people there. Assuming I lived 10 min from the location I wouldn't be able to go but 1 day this weekend as I also have finals. I can imagine it just being bad timing as far as the event as well as the first day.

Really, though. No one in LA EVER wants to drive out to Ontario. Let alone on a Friday evening when it will take at least an hour and a half sitting in Traffic on the 10/210/60.

I think its Windy over there or something? That's at least what someone said before. Someone said there was a windstorm? o,o Two nights ago, yes, a really big windstorm hit, largest in memory, and did fuck up some stuff in the LA foothills. Really, though, no one wants to ever drive out to Ontario. Its an hour from LA with zero traffic, and 1.5 - 2 hours with traffic. Exactly. Do you realize how close Ontario is to RIVERSIDE?! I wouldn't wish upon anyone to visit that awful, awful place, or anywhere near it.

I think it was Lucky (maybe sirirus?), some other fou zerg. he beat leenock later too, but I think it was with DTs.

Really, though, no one wants to ever drive out to Ontario. Its an hour from LA with zero traffic, and 1.5 - 2 hours with traffic. Honestly 1-2 hours isn't that long, but that is from experience when I lived in Ridgecrest and everything was 2 hours away.
They had the same problem last year ... the venue is larger than they need, and too far from any major city.
If they just scaled back the size, and rented a theatre, they would save so much money and resources.
I guess Russ doesn't want to commute to LA, but thinks the rest of California should commute to Ontario :\ ?

Hehe, I was about to say. Maybe they are just not going because its freezing outside? Weird that they give wind in mph, but temp in Celsius. But yeah, I agree. The only reason I can imagine people not going is because there is no hype, it costs 25+$, its in a remote place, and its Friday.
