Also, newer viewers aren't going to be sitting on TL looking at event details, they probably are watching with friends for the first time or something, and a lot of people get into SC2 by getting attached to casters/personalities (i.e. Boxer/Day9/Tastosis), so it makes sense to introduce themselves a lot. you're purposely exaggerating how often the casters re-introduce themselves. the dolphins just started the second quarter and there were no caster introductions. the broadcasters don't have time to introduce themselves after every commercial break b/c play on the field has resumed. cowboys just punted, cut to commercial, i bet they won't introduce themselves after this commercial either. it's not as rampant as you say, it's actually pretty rare. the only time i can think of that guarantees an introduction is when the game you're watching ends and they switch you to another game in progress. then the casters give their spiel. yep game just resumed, no introduction, just shots of cheerleaders until the play started.....stop exaggerating to try and prove a point. it helps no one but fox news. | ||
