Here we go again. This weekend is about good games and good fun. Don't rain on that parade. Play nice guys. Here's the very standard and friendly:

- NO Balance Whine.
- NO Player Bashing.
- NO Caster Bashing.
- NO BM whatsoever.

Breaking these rules (from pg 166 forward) will be met with severe punishment.

Sick play by Leenock. He did a very good job at punishing Naniwa's openings and showed great strategic skills as well as insane micro.

This has to be a troll lol

God damnit...

Congrats to Leenock though, I've always talked him up when no one really payed attention to him, he certainly deserves the attention.

People forget, you play to win... 6 pool, roach rush, whatever. You see a weakness, you exploit it. That's what Leenock did...

Best MLG to date!

A bit disappointing finals. Wished Leenock would have tried to play straight up more, but I guess the opportunity was there and it would have been absurd not to take it. He had a really good run and congrats to him. Beating so many great players all the way from the Open Bracket???

Naniwa did really well for himself though, Blizzard Cup Invite + Code S + Global Invite Champ + $25k + $3.5k + beating Nestea (twice) AND Mvp?

He might have been the bigger winner overall, despite placing 2nd.

Worst final ever. 4 early cheezebuilds and Naniwa got behind all games.

He won fair and square I just think it was not a good showing of skills except build orders

Yeah, instead Leenock should have gone for 6-base mass infestor play, with his hands tied behind his back and not looking at the screen, just to make it entertaining to watch for you. It's not about the 50.000 USD.
/sarcasm

Great tournament, well played by both players. Congratulations to the winner! Good night TL!

kinda sad.

No its not, Leenock is the korean boy genius.

Also, yay go Leenock!

He's getting cheesed, not mindgamed

If you lose to the same cheese/build/rush 2 games in a row that shows more about the loser than the rusher.

Yeah, what was up with that? Nexus first on XNC when you're opponent's been cheesing you every game? XNC where it's notoriously hard to FFE on? Oh well.

Leenock saw Naniwa did forge fast expand 4 games in a row. Leenock punished greedy play 4 games in a row. That's not "idiotic", wouldn't you say?

SOO Happy for Leenock. Just the way the format was, made me cheer for him harder he had to fight his way through SOO many opponents.

It just felt more meaningful for him to win, over a player who was seated in the Championship bracket and had to win only a few best of 3's.

You honestly think NaNi will give a shit about that? He wanted to win, and for him nothing matters apart from victory.
