Here we go again. This weekend is about good games and good fun. Don't rain on that parade. Play nice guys. Here's the very standard and friendly:

- NO Balance Whine.
- NO Player Bashing.
- NO Caster Bashing.
- NO BM whatsoever.

Breaking these rules (from pg 166 forward) will be met with severe punishment.

Le sigh.

Naniwa didn't adapt at all. Leenock was the better player.

even though this was a terrible final im still happy for leenock, his play against nani was quite boring but effective, you cant expect him to not take advantage of the fact that naniwa only knows one build against zerg, especially not with 50k on the line. Its not like he cheesed his way to the finals, the kid had amazing games and took out some of the best players in the world

Why do so many people leave? They can't just stay around for 5-10 more minutes after spending their whole weekend watching the event? Come on...

Congratulations Leenocktopus! Such great play to mess up Naniwa's seemingly impeccable tempo.

Plus he must be exhausted after such an incredible run + flight. Wow.

Amazing run by Leenock. I wonder what kind of changes Naniwa is going to make to his opening to cope with these hard counters or if he will just drop the forge FE on maps where it doesn't work well on.

Naniwa has no variations at all throughout his MLG games, Leenock realized that and simply exploited that.

Typical protoss mistake. Starts expansion. Moves out anyways. Dies

Yeah I guess 4 more zealots in that army would have changed the tide ^^

Thats not the point.
He had 2 colossus with lance, a third almost done, and a decent gateway army.
Using that at the thirds choke, or the naturals two chokes (with forcefields), is a very safe way to turtle and be untouchable.
Moving that army out leaves it vulnerable to less favourable attack angles, which is exactly what happened.

The more large range units you have, the better they become, especially at chokes.
Thats the reason why a large amount of roaches doesnt get that much better, while a large amount of stalkers + colossus is referred to as the death ball.
Staying at his chokes and turtling it out woudlve been much smarter, especially since he already threw down that nexus.

Typical zerg "Protoss just has to roflturtle" rant.

So disappointed to see Nani play/lose it like that, but Leenock desevers all the credit. Congrats Leenock, youngest winner of major sc2 tournament, and the first to win from Open Loser's bracket no less.

Now I understand how he beat MMA. Leenock is exeptional in punishing greedy players.
So, a 16 years old wins a major tournament utilizing cheesing(in the good way) against great players. That reminds of a certain someone.
My dick has shrunk to the point where it looks like I have 3 balls.
