A thumbs down, a quote taken out of context and a few phrases typed should be the worst of everyone's worries. I dont know how many times I've seen a player call a ref a fucking idiot or completely insult another player with trash talking and what not in the big 4 sports.

So regardless of the context, the wording of the statement is understood as calling Nestea an idiot. I completely understand that Naniwa didn't mean for it to come out like that, but his original statement is absolutely calling Nestea an idiot. In context it's pretty blatant he's still talking about the drones and if people can't see that they have poor comprehension.

Seems like Naniwa watched the replay right after the first game of the 3rd Match between him and Nestea got canceled to see what Nestea would do. source: http://twitter.com/#!/SemiProJoe/status/138086569721593856 yeah people have mentioned this. if this is true...it can be real bad for nani's already dwindling image.

He called Nesta an idiot IN THAT PARTICULAR GAME. He also stated his opinion earlier in the interview that he does not have a hard time playing against Nestea's playstyle, saying that other Korean zergs are harder for him. People can be idiots at times, geniuses at others. Also, English is probably his second language.

I'm also 95% sure the casters stated they did not restart the game and they had just unpaused? Depends if it's a rule or not. However, I personally think it's a huge unafir advantage seeing someone's initial build order on a map that you're gonna replay.

Nestea also sees if Naniwa was going nexus first, the food timing of his forge, if he had planned on going in-base gate, etc. On November 20 2011 14:53 Femari wrote: They had to restart the game, the second game was the one that was paused. I'm pretty sure third game wasn't restarted. Second game was the one where Nestea 11 pooled on Tal'darim wasn't it, where was the pause in that?

They aren't going to be penalized or anything but if you say something dumb or flaunt then of course people are going to get upset over it. There's something that matters in every profession and it's called pesonality. If someone doesn't like naniwa for what he does, who are you to say they aren't allowed to? If a pro insulted another pro like that then a lot of people wouldn't like them. There are people who have been recorded and LIP READ (not even heard on camera) for saying something bad about a referee's call and they were suspended and fined by the league.

Wait, I didn't really watch the game live and only skimmed through the VODs, what actually happened? Because it seemed like the game where Naniwa won they were close positions again and it was a bit strange how after all his attempts to delay the game to change the map they replay it on the same close spawn map?

If you go back and watch it the casters mention it while apologizing for the wait. Edit: By second game I mean the second instance of the 3rd game. Sorry.

If Naniwa planned on canon rushing, but wasn't sure if he should, knowing NesTea's early game build order (not going for a fast pool) may have made Naniwa a lot more confident in a strategy he was unsure of. NesTea was sort of down after that canon as it definitely cut away some of his early mining time. Saying that though, I don't know if it would have had a big impact on the game... Nevertheless, player's should not be allowed to do that.

I don't think he is trying to learn english, that is just how his english sounds/is... Also as a scandinavian, the word idiot, though not a nice word is commonly used about someone who does something stupid.. It does not exactly mean that you think the person is a complete idiot with no intelligence.. If so I think all my friends are idiots, and they think I am an idiot. Just get over it guys.

People just dont like him, it's plain and simple. Also the whole "oh it happens in other sports" thing doesnt really fly with me, since I have seen players become public enemy number 1 over cheap shots and bad sportsmanship. Its not exclusive to e-sports.
