I lol'd at the underlined portion. Americans get made fun of the most of all, though I do agree many of the comments towards France are over the top (I considered commenting on it earlier, but as I already said Americans get made fun of so much here that I figured I would be too touchy if I said anything), and there doesn't seem to be any repercussions. Fortunately for you, all these comments against France are only coming up because of this one occurance, and after it things will go back to normal where you guys aren't mentioned much at all.
Also, I applaud you for making valid points, but then making yourself look like a completely ignorant moron with statements like "Our fellow US friends think their own moral value are the value that the world should respect." Yup, all Americans clearly feel that way. *eyeroll*

But I had exams and afaik diestar had school too. The match had to be played though, so it ended up being scheduled to start around midnight for us (no excuses about that though). Also, you need to realize we're spread very thin player wise at the moment. Tarson is currently not active and Feast was just acquired like two days prior to this clan war. One player having other commitments was enough to spoil a scheduling attempt. And if something unforseen were to happen during a match we didn't really have a healthy pool of replacement players to pick from.
I'd like to continue listing further arguments, but probably best if I just cut this short. Of course we should have showed up with a full team. And it was our honest intention to do so. However, we were barely a full team by this point as it were. Furthermore it was midnight, and then that unforseen thing happened. Wasn't intentional or meant to be disrespectful. Just something that happens sometimes, and something we weren't able to sort out since we're spread very thin at the moment.
Why are you trying to make so many lame excuses? Honestly, saying these sort of things never helps to improve one's image. You are much better off accepting your follies and going on with your life. Also I don't know where you live, but I'll assume France or somewhere in the same timezone. Midnight for you is 8am in Korea, which could be just as unreasonable for them. You lost to arguably the best team in Korea, I don't think anyone in their right mind actually thought Mill stood a chance. Also, hopefully this settles down some of the massive Stephano over-hyping. Could really do with less of that zealotry everywhere.
Idra fan boy?

I think that it was the right decision for millennium. When you are losing that bad is it suck more to give up or continue? It's really sucks either way but at least one of your players doesn't have to go through another brutal game.

8 am is "uneasy"?
LOL... Get a job. If they want to be progamers they might also treat it like a job...
8 am.. uneasy... my god.. someone should hti you with a bucked filled with reality...

Not the biggest incontrol fan here, but he has a point. Mill had an obligation to provide a full lineup to IPL for the games, and if they couldn't muster a full team within the specified timeframe, they should have tried to inform IPL beforehand. Afterall, IPL's bounty was supposed to be worth a full clan war. They're disappointing fans + IPL big time that way, which could have simpy been avoided by not playing at all so that IPL can arrange for another team on another date.
I don't think Slayers care that much about having 1 less game played, so long as they collect the full bounty.

Stephano deserves more than Millenium, WAY more.

What if HuK still was on Millenium... Fun times :D

lol @ lalush explanation.... "we didnt intentionally mean anything" but he didnt even gg which is total bm against koreans LOL and why even play the showmatch if you didnt have a full team to play in the first place? why not just forfeit the entire match "due to lack of players?" why ACCEPT?

I'm not totally agree with you since it's a typical french anti american reaction but there's one thing i note : when Idra BMs he's a mighty genius, when lalush does he's just a shit. There's a bias there, but i don't even think this is because idra is american, he has just a lot of american fan -> the american fan don't flame him and there's lot of these guys round there .

Haha Crank is such a funny guy, seen him in ESV. He seems to be quite the effective cheeser, although I didnt watch these series against Stephano. Well, if you play in SlayerS at least even if you are b-teamer you seem to beat the best foreigners. ^^

Anyone who is totally surprised that Crank won against Stephano clearly doesn't watch the Korean weekly. Crank is sick fucking good and I have little doubt people will be hearing his name soon.

While Stephano's wins against many koreans code S players during ILP3 qualifiers will be considered as "irrevelant of his skill level", i will consider the korean's online wins "irrevelant of their skill level" too.
It seems logic to me.

I somehow knew people on the internets would omit this part when bashing my explanation. We should have fielded a full team, and it was unprofessional not to do so, I agree (apologize for this). We did think we would be able to play however, and for the reasons I provided it was hard for us to fix the mess that arose from being one player short (it being midnight, and there being no replacements).
As for other perceived transgressions, I'll let the internets continue construe the facts, details and meaning surrounding them.

People tend to be more forgiving towards a player who is actually good.

So why blame his behaviour and speak about respect if just the player's level is important?

<troll> Stehano 0 - 1 Crank Stephano 0 - 1 Tails was followed by Stephano 4 - 0 Tails Stephano 0 - 1 Inori was followed by Stephano 2 - 0 Inori
Do I see a pattern here ? :p </troll>
A match starting at midnight in EU and 8:00 AM in Korea is asking for this kind of issue. It means it was way past 1 AM in EU when last match should have started, and usually on a week day at 1 AM you're either quite tired or asleep (which could as well explain Stephano's performance, he is not really known to play well when tired, quite the opposite in fact...). M and IPL have their parts of responsibility in the failed organisation, M taking the biggest part for not being able to show up with a full team, but it's nowhere near bad as some ppl want to make it. Shit happens, when an athlet injures himself he doesn't keep playing, same kind of deal here.
Anyway, nothing surprising in the result, M doesn't have the players' base to compete with SlayerS, it was either a full team by Stephano (very unlikely to happen considering koreans probably prepared strategies against him) or a big loss.

golden beat millenium :/ no offense but millenium played really poorly. especially considering how lax golden was. crank is also the brand new slayers that hasn't even been on the scene yet apart from the korean weekly.
expect better from millenium!
