omg so much hate in this thread lol
1- why would you hate on a team with 5 players who are trying to play a bo9 clanwar ? if something happens with either the internet or to the player himself they wont be enough soo does that mean teams with only 5 members arent allowed to participate? or people with 6 neither because 2 of them might not be able to play-who knows? u c? that discussion is kinda stupid
2-lalush not gg'ing doesnt mean he bms but thats his way of expressing that he didnt play well or he thinks it wasnt a good game which is not particularly good or anything i defend but its not bm in general
3-omg stop bashing incontrol for playing horribly at any toutnament he enters - hes a pro he will get over it - sure -im totally convinced by it - maybe in a few years.... + Show Spoiler +no offence but i find it kinda ridiculous too that hes bashing players that are better than him

Dang, I was sure KleeneX was gonna wipe the board!

Man. I don't see why you guys are so pissed at Mill for not being able to play. When catspj announced that there were no more games i just lost it for a good ten minutes, rofl. Yeah it was sad that there weren't any more games, but whatever guys. It wasn't intentional and it was kinda late.

at this rate slayers is gonna get teams to start forfeiting during the first game!
I think Empire is about the only decent non-korean team left to play... hopefully they can get IM soon.

Some might say, there is a strong bias towards a certain attitude ... I'm not totally agree with you since it's a typical french anti american reaction but there's one thing i note : when Idra BMs he's a mighty genius, when lalush does he's just a shit. There's a bias there, but i don't even think this is because idra is american, he has just a lot of american fan -> the american fan don't flame him and there's lot of these guys round there . People tend to be more forgiving towards a player who is actually good. So why blame his behaviour and speak about respect if just the player's level is important? It's not like player's level is all that matters. But it might be seen by many people as a redeming factor. When Stephano was involved it the "Col. transfer incident", many ppl defended him on TL saying he is "young and talented and it would be a shame...". On topic. Millenium acted in a highly unprofessional way. You either have a team ready or you don't. If you don't - don't compete. As someone pointed out earlier - Alternate had similar problems, but they found a replacement. IPL is organizing these events to be broadcasted. People who tune in have the right to expect a certain number of games (a full match). As cliche as it sounds - if something is killing e-sports, its the walkovers/no-shows/forfeits (e.g. in the NASL). What i saw was more like an anti-Stephano-Millenium-french thread, stop arguing wrong things, i even remember a poll where "65% will never forgive Stepha for what he did he almost killed esport". Few week after everybody was saying he was the best player eva and he would destroy MVP in a blind one-handed b07. I mean this is just TL, in 3 days everybody will forget this issue the only people even bringing up nationality are the french posters playing the race card .. in 3 days everyone will forget just like most forgot the few eu playheim / craftcups hes won making him the 'best zerg in the world' and 'the next spanishwa' and the french posters have forgotten his mlg performance competing and doing well are way different, and it would be just stupid to say incontrol is code a/s atm. I mean you mention dallas, but even then incontrol cheesed his way through n had a super easy group. Then all the other mlgs he does terrible, and only places high because of him already being in pool play so he gets auto top 20 or something.
Also people really need to stop with the US/EU card it is just really annoying. Idra never doesn't gg now for live tournaments at least, and even in the past it was because of how he lost or how the person played n if in his mind they deserved the gg. If idra loses a bunch of mutas to flying over marines n idra leaves it wasn't a gg because idra played terrible. Idra is known for speaking his mind, and getting angry so no idea why you would even compare lelush to him unless lelush BMs a lot also because i have no idea.

Ok, me flaming Mill for being unprofessional and whatnot was just stupid now that I think of it. They've played. They've lost. End of story.
Wanted to ask about other thing: Dont you guys think that IPL kinda broke Team Arena by inviting SlayerS - a team that no foreign clan can take down? Should they start a new round with foreign teams - Evil Geniuses, Liquid etc. or get more Korean teams?
|
Really? Mill forfeit their last game? They get invited to play in the IPL Team Arena and then they forfeit? lol how irresponsible -.- Did they think Stephano would AK or something? I don't understand...

Who is SlayerS playing against next?

It's nice that we get to see "unknown" B teamers play! They can't send them in GSTL and they can't qualify for code A so we don't see them often. So it's a cool thing. Maybe they can allow a "dreamteam" for foreigners with the best players of each team, but I dunno if the players would want it

Slayers isn't unbeatable. IPL will probably start inviting repeat foreign teams after a while anyways (since they are starting to run out). Not to mention Slayers isn't the only Korean team that'll get invited, so at worst Team Arena this season turns into Korean teams (and FXO) fighting it out.
It's probably discouraging that Slayers isn't throwing their A-team out there other than against Mouz (they really went all-out on that one huh?) and even then Mouz knocked out Ryung and Coca (and Lots).

Is this a joke ?
1) Remember me his palmares ? "few playhem and craftcup ?" ok np, this guy just a nooby, i agree his last title was the go4sc2 he won 6 months ago, not that a big deal you got me
2) I never heard someone saying he was the best zerg of the world, Some argue he is the best foreign zerg wich may be true, some this is the best foreigner, i don't know but he is one of the pretendants, most just say he's verry good wich is TRUE.
3) Did you just compare Stephano to Spanishiwa ? Did i see that ? Did you say that he "wasn't even the next spanishiwa" ? You have some troubles man.
4) I didn't forget he lost to Thestc and Boxer at MLG, this is absolutly not a shame since HE'S NOT NESTEA. But i think you forgot over stuffs he did around this time...

At #3, if he was not trolling than that is simply.... hilarious... no offense to spanishiwa hes a good player in the foreign scene undoubtedly, but putting him on the same level as a player like stephano is just not thinking!

btw spanishixa performs pretty well in the open bracket

Love you guys, especially CatZ is the coolest guy on earth :-) just added and followed your stream!

Mouz is the most competitive team SlayerS has played. Their player choices against everyone else shows that they don't think much of the other teams, other than maybe Liquid who they at least fielded Alicia and Min against.
Maybe EG will get SlayerS to field their top players again.
