Watch how you approach the topic of match fixing. You can speculate, saying "I'm not so sure about the finals, something doesn't sit right with me," but if you are going to outright accuse players of match fixing you need something more than your word. TL takes match fixing/abuse seriously and as such there is a burden a proof when you are accusing players. - p4NDemik

I can understand MVP losing to Nestea, but I don't want him to drop games to no namers ![]() ?? How many losses has MVP had in the last month? He lost one match to MMA and one to Nestea. Who else has beaten him? More importantly you aren't a true fan if you can't support your guy through loses. I still love FruitDealer and he has been losing for almost a year. Same with Moon. And while I am an MVP fan he doesn't fall into the territory of the above two who are really inconsistent, MVP certainly wins a lot lot more than he loses.

Sen has no chance whatsoever close pos shattered vs MVP. Did they even mention his disadvantage during their casting? I'm sure if they said a single word, they'd probably get asked to stfu and know their roles after casting the game lol. They mentioned several times, how terrible these spots are for Zerg...

MVP: First of all, since I'm friendly with Sen, I felt bad, but I'm also happy to be able to go against Nestea again. Day9: How were you feeling about those [last] games [against Nestea] now knowing that you get to rematch against Nestea. MVP: Last time I was defeated pitifully, but this time I will win. Day9: So going against Nestea for a chance at $50,000 what do you think your chances of winning are? MVP: First of all the thought that I could win such a big prize makes me feel good, but I really want to win against Nestea. I am setting my goal to beat Nestea. Thank you, sir.

I don't think MVP used the same build Taking advantage of the open wall would have done it

He's humble, extremely hard working and deserving of his wins. He's never fallen into a major slump (the only noticeable one would be when he fell into Code A - only to quickly claim another GSL). You'll never see him do a throat-slice or say "ezpz" in a pre-match interview. You'll not even see him drop a million scans to signalize the end of the game. He drops mules, but that's more of a standard ritual in every game as opposed to a strict BM thing.

Fun fact: The Opening match of Blizzcon 2011 was the only match up without a zerg player.

But I think it was sort of shown perfectly vs MMA that though his macro might be the best, he's largely a turtle-to-max-then-win player. Not saying that's all he does. I know he can do any strategy in the book, but his "style" seems to fall back on security. Players like MMA are fan favourites for his risky drop play and unique builds. MVP's risk-taking is low, and though he often wins it's usually pretty safe. I'm sort of a fan, but his safety can make some games a little dull and so I'm not as much a fan of his play as I am for players like DRG and MC. I'm much more of a Nestea fan, but I like and respect MVP too and don't think his style is boring. He seems to have more builds than any terran and he's generally a very macro-oriented player that also possesses the the mechanics to apply just enough pressure, but he isn't very aggressive. I favor this play because it usually leads to the longer more epic games. MVP vs Top game 1 was wayyyyyy better than any of the comeback stuff that MMA has ever shown imo. That carpet nuke of the base was just flat out sexy.
