I know I'm an MVP fanboy and I prefer mech style to Bio so whatever I say is gonna be tinged with bias but seriously; cheese-fests, base trades and watching Marauders completely steamroll more expensive tank lines with ease aren't my idea of a good time. You can't just have tanks, they fire too slowly which allows marauders to rip them apart. You need to support them with marines to finish off the hurt marauders before the marauders can kill your tanks. Hellions aren't good support for the tanks against marauders because hellions barely do any damage to the marauders. The Raven's point defense drone also helps against marauders so that's another thing MVP could have done.

You don't like base trades? Really? I find them some of the most exciting and tense moments in games. Are you sure its not just that you don't like base trades in which the player you wanted to win loses? Also, I think its kinda cool to see marauders kill tanks, thats what they are supposed to do in TvT right?

To me it basically just means that both players have screwed up. Its a messy way of winning. I far prefer the epic split map situations, like the first set of the MVP vs Top final, or the final MVP vs Nestea set at Blizzcon. The MVP vs Nestea Blizzcon final was a lot more enjoyable for me and would've been regardless of who won. And yeah, Tank lines without Raven, Hellion or Marine support are gonna get wiped out by Marauders. I understand it but I dont have to like it.

Okay fair enough, I just watched the match where they base traded and it wasn't the most exciting because MMA was clearly ahead. Base trades are definitely more exciting when they are closer. I dunno if I would say both players screwed up, in the situation I just saw the trade clearly favoured MMA and I think it would usually favour Bio against mech (not always) due to mobility.

That was the best GSL finals by far. It was the best GSL finals the crowd and the 'underdog' winning after MVP looked so damn good helped make it like that. The games were pretty good and exciting, seeing MMA just straight prepare such good builds to use against MVP was pretty cool. Of course it'd have been nice if it was 4-3 or whatever but if MMA prepared that well for his opponent then all credit to him

I mean, it showed that he has one of the best TvTs in the world, but he had no game vP, and only one game vZ... which he lost. Not his fault, of course, just the way the cookie crumbled.
