I mean, it showed that he has one of the best TvTs in the world, but he had no game vP, and only one game vZ... which he lost.
Not his fault, of course, just the way the cookie crumbled.
The only matchup he has still not proven himself in is TvP. His TvZ is probably the best in the world along with mvp.
I'll take Bomber's TvZ over MMA's probably. Pretty close still.
Anyway, I can't even believe MMA won...
Speaking as someone who is a huge fan of both of them, I'd take MMA's TvZ over Bomber's any day of the week. Unless DRG is involved, in which case I'd take Bomber or MVP.
I don't really see why people like Bomber so much. I mean, he won MLG, but other than that, he hasn't won anything. I would rank: TvZ: MVP > MKP > MMA TvP: MVP > Polt > Happy TvT: MMA > MVP > MMA
TvZ: MVP then Ganzi. It's been too long since MMA and MKP have played a high profile TvZ series and I'm not convinced their respective styles would still be effective against current strategies. Yes I am completely ignoring the AoL results. Watching those games I refuse to believe any of the players there used their best strategies. Happy has good results but against bad ZvTers.
TvP: Frankly, past results aren't really relevant anymore. Nobody has played enough high level TvP's since the patch to be able to rank them. Polt and Bomber were the only notable TvPers anyways.
TvT: MMA>MVP>Bomber>Ryung>the rest
You are overhyping MMA, MVP still has a much more solid history in TvT he is #1, also MKP despite his high profile TvT losses still has very strong TvT, better than Bomber and maybe Ryung... for TvT id rank it MVP>MMA>MKP>Bomber=Ryung>Else
MKP's TVT is his downfall IMO. He was 1-13 not too long ago and he hasn't done much to show that he's a contender in mirror matchups. His non-mirror matchups might arguably be on par.
just watched the vods and wow tasteless never annoyed me as much as he did in this finals. Every 5 minutes hes talking about how player a and b must be feeling at this point and stuff like that. hes trying to analyze the game more but as always hes more than often wrong at doing it.
so i like the studiotasteless more just because he lets artosis do the talk there and isnt trying to be the mainguy so hard. Dont get me wrong tastosis are still my favourite castingduo...
The games were good. MMA punishing MVP for being the greedy guy he always is. Much love for Johns speech.

I don't have vods and its been a little while, but it could be ice flower by IU and kim yuna if its the song played during the credits
thanks a lot.but i'm not talking about this song. It's an english song just before this one(ice flower) ,I can remember some words "finding myself, find out for you,I just can't @#$,carrying myself @#$ "
Damn !! Just watched the VODs and it is awesome !! yeah sure it's 4-1 but the games are incredibly exciting.... Best GSL Final I've ever seen....
I'm a bit disappointed that MVP lost the GSL Final (since I am his fan) but MMA really deserved it... He trained his ass off for this Final.... HUGE props to him.
And hey, MVP won Blizzcon anyways, so he came home to Korea not empty handed (50k is a lot of money)

He improved his TvT by a lot I would say. His marine/tank play was a bit stronger than GanZi in his code A run (he was 3-1 in marine/tank vs marine / tank against GanZi who is a very strong terran) and since mech seems not that strong anymore and that his bio play is very good he has become great in TvT I think. But it's hard to judge since in GSL you don't watch a lot of games
Had a viewing party for this finals, and I must say that it was very much worth it. This GSL finals was amazing because of the energetic atmosphere that Blizzcon provided, and because of the fact that MMA upset MVP in a very 1-sided series. Look at the first image in the OP, and you can get an idea of how much of a favorite that MVP was. Could anyone here honestly say that they had expected an MMA 4-1? I certainly did not.
GSL needs more upsets like this to increase the entertainment value. Considering the last few tournaments, MVP over TOP, Nestea over Losira, Nestea over Inca, the outcome was neither surprising nor close (Polt over MMA was certainly an upset, but the fact that MMA played at a very subpar level made the finals underwhelming).
not to bm, but I thought tastosis were good before watching the Korean POV. man did tastosis miss a TONS of actions! Just to name a few at the end of the 5th game. They missed the 2-3 rauders of MMA killing the only 2 remaining SCV of MVP in his base and then since MVP was hugely supply blocked with no SCVs to build depots the landed orbital can't produce anything (he queued 5 SCVs in the OC). Which then triggered him to unsieged all his tanks originally protecting the OC to go to MMA's last mining base. seeing the tanks coming, MMA had to land all his viking to fight the tanks (which I'm sure wasn't his original plan cause turtling and building more stuff is much safer), and won the battle hence the game right there. All this dynamic actions were caught by the Korean POV but tastosis caught NONE. I think a dedicated camera person might be necessary and will greatly add value to the viewing experience.

They don't control the camera dude. Havn't you ever noticed them asking for a shot of a certain area?

Oh then why don't they just use the Korean POV? who controls the English commentary POV? Anyway that guy is really good at missing key actions and great storylines...

I wish they did control the camera, because the guy who does misses TONS of stuff. I've been noticing it for months, and it's pretty painful when they ask to get a shot of something and the camera man doesn't show it.

I've always found the guy controlling the obs (ST_Legend I think?) extremely good, especially when obsing anything involving terran. He usually catches stuff that both artosis and tasteless miss, and compared to tasteless obsing himself (or any other caster obsing), I consider it a major improvement.

When is "not too long ago." MKP took 2 games off of MVP at the beginning of this year.
According to my numbers MKP is 68-43 in TvT which is good enough for second behind MMA. He is the 5th best Terran at TvZ and 6th best Terran in TvP according to my numbers, so as near as I can tell he is fairly well rounded and TvT might actually be his best matchup.
