Congratulations to SlayerS_MMA on his stunning victory over IMMvp in the GSL October Final, live from BlizzCon! We'll see you again tomorrow for much more StarCraft II competition in the Battle.net Invitational.
Somebody needs a spoiler lession.....................
really? so if you miss a football game, do you get mad at the news channel or news website for posting results?
No, because eSports is uncomparable with any other sports as esports is viewed online, also people don't go back and watch videos of the final at a football game, you either watch it live or you do not watch it at all.
This morning I stayed off of Twitter, TL and any other sites where I could get spoiled, I certainly not expect Facebook to spoil the GSL
I'm honestly tired of hearing this ridiculous and retarded argument again and again. I'm going to kick a dog the next time I hear this: "No, because eSports is uncomparable with any other sports as esports is viewed online, also people don't go back and watch videos of the final at a football game, you either watch it live or you do not watch it at all."
Sorry that's your perception and opinion and not a true fact and until you can prove it with statistics (a poll of 1 million sports fan and whether they prefer to rewatch a replay) I don't want to hear it again. I will come out and I say I think lots of people will watch after it live and buy season passes to rewind/forward through a game. Secondly as someone already said many people DVR games and choose to watch it. Just because you don't watch sports if it's not live, doesn't mean everyone else doesn't want to.
I really should just post spoilers everywhere on this forum to make a statement of either stop complaining or don't use the internet if you don't want to be spoiled ffs. Is this against the rules? lol
Or I'll just make a list of everyone who complains about spoilers and then mass mail them with results after every tournament.

"Well many of my friends or parents would say: "It's just a game John, quit it." But being here today, people from all over the world being together and sharing this moment is something that politics or money can't do, and it's a miracle. And it is so very easy for us, people like us, who is doing the productions to forget, that we just provide the tools, and it's actually the fans that make the e-sports. Thank you for reminding me of that, and if anyone ever doubts your passions towards e-sports, tell them you were here at 2011 Blizzcon and you watched the GSL finals. Thank you very much, I love you all."
Love you John. You add so much to the scene....
John is such a fucking baller. Really glad he was on stage to translate, really good finals as well.

That's just the quarter finals where he won 3-2. In the finals rematch, he won again 3-1. Then again "it was only an online tournament, it doesn't count."
Im never normally a fan of TvT but i was totally blown away by the play, it was just brilliant. I hope MMA can keep this up and keep improving, at this rate my favourite match up is going to be MMA v X.
I did watch the finals live but I missed the first game, so I just caught up on the vod during the blizzcon brake, and the documantary about tasteless they played when they had sound issues almost made me cry. These finals are like the best ones ever, gom showing so much love for tasteless, 5 really sick games, with a base race climax, the son of the emperor beating the god of terran, claiming his first gsl victory and john holding another really epic speach. This may actually be a final that I will rewatch many times.

If you kick a dog, I will be on you with a fury of a thousand fists!
But honestly..you shouldn't let such a thing frustrate you; it is someone else's opinion. Maybe you will convince him/her that their personal stance is faulty, but there will always be another person with another opinion that you just cannot/will not be able to change. There are many stubborn people out there.

You should also point out that many people DO tape sporting events and try to avoid the spoilers before watching them. I have done this multiple times lol
