Should be able to watch if you have gsl pass, much cheaper. No idea if you need blizzcon ticket to watch it on their website though. You don't. at the bottom of the player is a list of Vods and the GSL finals are free.

Had to press the GSL vod twice on the blizzard player for it to work, but eventually work it did.

Man I didn't watch because I thought it was going to be a rollover and I didn't want to see that. I guess I can still watch the vods, but that is never as good as watching live.

i have to say, it was one of the best GSL finals ever

Do you really think so? I think mvp vs. top was much better.

I was in the main crowd at Blizzcon last night and it was the greatest experience of my life. Easily the most fun thing I've ever been a part of. I sadly do not get to go to any MLGs, so this is my one nerd indulgence of the year. I had noticed throughout the day at the Blizzcon Invitational games that the crowd appeared to be a little dead. Even for the last game of Dimaga vs ToodMing, the crowd was a bit muted.
What some of you may not realize is that most of the quiet crowds for the Invitational are because of the numerous other things to do at Blizzcon that are stealing devoted, rabid, cheering nerds from the crowds. Even during Dimaga/ToodMing, the Costume and Dance contests were taking place. Once that ended though, the crowd started growing and growing in front of the stage. Even the aisles were taken up, much to the chagrin I'm sure of the fire marshals.
MMA was the crowd favorite and appeared to feed off the energy of the crowd more than MVP. You can see in his eyes that he absolutely adores coming to foreign events because of the fans. The standing ovation for Nick and Dan? You could see the overwhelming energy knocked them back a little bit and clearly moved them. Even the Korean commentators didn't quite know what to do with us, but eventually started to really have fun and pander to us a bit.
The series may have been 4-1 but the games, while short, were still tense at moments which made it fun. It was so great to be able to watch the games with fellow nerds, talk strategy in between games, and just overall have community with the SC community. You could tell that the louder we got, the bolder we became to get even louder.
We wanted to show the World that the Koreans may have the best players, but Foreigners have the best fans. I'm really hoping that they bring the GSL finals overseas again, perhaps even with other GSL leagues like the team league.
I loved it, and MMA is a total nerd baller. His calm under pressure was amazing, and his tactical play was brilliant. The bold gamble in G1, the flank in G2, keeping his cool after G3 for the great contain in G4, and then the nailbiting nukes vs BCs baserace for the championship. Congrats to MMA for a great series and a place in GSL history!

QFT! I was there as well and one other aspect that didn't get shown on the stream is the crowd you saw there was only HALF the spectators present. Between games 4 and 5 I had to take a quick bio break and decided to walk over to the main stage area where they were also broadcasting the finals and the crowd there was easily just as big if not bigger >.< What a time for esports!

Im impressed... I went to sleep after 3 games and I was sure that MVP was going to make it close... but MMA obviously did a lot of his hw o.o

Best finals by far when it comes to atmosphere. Crowd was absolutely massive and stunning. Games themselves were kind of a letdown, the GSL finals curse making itself felt at blizzcon also ;p.

Click on some other match, like Match 6 and when it starts click on the GSL Finals. That worked for me.

FYI you dont need GSL ticket to watch the finals... you can watch the finals over at the blizzcon site Vod archive...

Holy check,MMA is older than MVP

Started as a GSTL star leading slayers to back to back championships, being crowed MVP of the tournament two times;

Made a nice run in the super tournament, only to get destroyed in the finals where he was the favorite by polt;
Dropped down to code B;
Flew to MLG once again, this time to get a code S seed, and achieved it, but not without a bittersweet taste; He had to deny his mentor, the emperor himself, BoxeR, the man who put faith in MMA, the very same spot that he took, by defeating him in the loser bracket's finals;
Your timeline is wack. He participated in Super Tournament because he was in Code A, he never dropped down to Code B. Slayers Team Results He was knocked out by Puzzle from Code A right after losing to Polt in the Super.
That aside, the games were really good - people hopefully won't look at the scoreline, because there were a couple base races and the dual sight game was fantastic.

As soon as I saw MVP lose to Select today (No offense to Select) I was like oh, so MVP might be able to take a game or two against MMA. I'm actually really surprised by the results still, and it seems to me that MMA just had a much better mindset in the games.

I have never been so happy to lose a liquibet.
Go MMA!!!
