Congratulations to SlayerS_MMA on his stunning victory over IMMvp in the GSL October Final, live from BlizzCon! We'll see you again tomorrow for much more StarCraft II competition in the Battle.net Invitational.
Somebody needs a spoiler lession.....................
really? so if you miss a football game, do you get mad at the news channel or news website for posting results?
No, because eSports is uncomparable with any other sports as esports is viewed online, also people don't go back and watch videos of the final at a football game, you either watch it live or you do not watch it at all.
This morning I stayed off of Twitter, TL and any other sites where I could get spoiled, I certainly not expect Facebook to spoil the GSL

You'd be surprised at the number of people who buy season passes to watch a sport online who don't have cable (myself included). Also esp. for baseball plenty of people work during the game so they DVR it and watch it once they're home or at their leisure. The comment about no one watching a finals after it occurs live is just ignorant though.
He really showed some innovative and aggresive styles. I have to cut MVP a little slack though, he spent the previous few hours playing and preparing for several other matches, so that definetely probably affected his game.
I'm questionable to say MMA is the overall stronger player as of yet. His TvT certainly is, but I think MVP is still no.1

If you're not watching it live the only reason you should watch it is to see the games/plays which are just as impressive if you know the results.
As many others in this thread have already said, just watching this match, regardless of the results, was a huge moment in Esports. I could feel the energy from the crowd through the stream and having been a fan of esports for over 10 years it made me really proud to see how far our passion has come. Though awkward and nervous at times, I think the Korean Translator (forget his name) said it best with his little "speech" at the end talking about following your dream and passion and it really made me proud to have followed esports for all these years and see it blossom to a level such as this.
