No way, OP live coverage suggests it was 1-1 at some point.

I could 100% be wrong, but this is usually the case (as seen in school/studying, and other sports) Axslav and Incontrol live and practice full time in the EG house... Painuser still plays a little but is predominantly casting for IGN, he did make a pretty respectable run in the MLG open bracket last time out before getting crushed by HerO Source with their practice hours? Inc has stated multiple times on sotg and inside the game they practice around 8 hours daily. Okay. Perhaps they don't practice as methodically and are not practicing the "right" things. For example I know plenty of people that study hard in school but focus on unnecessary things and waste time because of it. This could also be the case. Thats why we need coaches. Fruitdealer probably dosen't even practise that much and he made aslav look easy peasy.

In SC2 I only really get around that high when I'm on form.

You get the same type of hate for: HoN DotA CoD Halo CS Quake Yeah, but we should support all e-sports, if League has insane viewer counts that *awesome* for everyone who likes esports. To have hating of any sort on another game in op is all sorts of BM. It is not as active as booing the Halo award ceremony, but it still should not be there.

The quality of practice aside from Idra and Demuslim in the EG house probably isn't nearly as fearsome as the EU/KR players. So it could just be Axslav vs Strifecro 8 hours worth of practice, which doesn't sound nearly as impressive. Many people are just not that talented. It's not just quality of practice and hours put in, talent is a huge factor.

TT1 vs Mana Mana is 124-99, 7-3 in the last 10 games. TT1 is 58-42, but is on a complete tear in PvP recently, going 9-1 in the last 10, and having a 12-game streak recently! These guys haven't played each other since June, and TT1 is 3-2 up overall

Stream makes it even worse then live, right now it's just over 16k people on SC2 to 50k on LoL. This is sadly what happens when the game maker actually cares about promoting these things though. Login to LoL front page is just simply a link to the tourney, login to SC2 there is a tiny news segment in the top right and no link to the stream.

You can accomplish the same thing with 20 APM if you time your moves correctly. The fact that there is little to no multitasking in that type of game tells me that APM is relatively useless measurement.

I believe anyone can become a professional player in SC2 if they practice correctly and for long enough. If someone practices 15 hours a day for 5 years and they start off with no "talent" (btw what is your definition of talent?) I refuse to believe they could easily become a TOP professional player.
