I love how fanboys are using 2 wins to solidify Nestea's skills vs mvp now. How bout 11-3 buddy. The games were very good and very close (cept for game 1, complete mvp landslide). Idk how you guys consider nestea on even footing with mvp when he loses EVERY SERIES they play. 3-2 isn't owned, but 11-3 is. And 4-0 series is too.

And you have to consider the maps that GOM gave Nestea, basically telling Nestea "Hey, you better win this now."

(and i did root for mvp, so dont go for the "nestea fanboy" crap)

![]() a sc2 bonjwa will not happen for another while, at least wait until the end of this year, after mlg championship, blizzcon, and all that to see how things go young game, prestigious and old title, doesn't go together just yet give it time, i'd say mvp is the closest so far, but again, sc2 is yooooooooounnggg in comparison to bw

He'd need to be getting to and/or winning GSL finals consistently for much longer than that before we bestow the b-word upon him. He's definitely the best player in the world currently but that does not by itself a bonjwa make.

Like Nestea has no chance? "just give the win to MVP, Nestea always looses anyway tasteless" He needs to make it exciting and while total series may not been impressive, today's games were and show that nestea is constantly improving and maybe he will take the next serie of MVP.

I don't understand the all-encompassing reply as if a bunch of folks were saying he should be bonjwa. It was just me asking the question of simply whether or not he would be one if he won this GSL, with no implications or intent to express that he already was one. Although I'm pretty new to the eSports scene (only with SC2), I think I now understand the inherent community-driven prestige behind the term.

I'd prefer it if Artosis casted like he does the GSTL and just casts from an objective standpoint. At least it doesn't consist of "NesTea is the GOD OF ZERG", "NesTea eats nerd brain for breakfast!", "NesTea drinks all the nerd blood after trashing them!", "NesTea is an absolute DESTROYER!", "NesTea makes it look like he's playing against platinum every time!", "NesTea is about to win this match any minute now!", so on and so forth. In just a single night. In EVERY NesTea match. Yes, even the ones he barely won due to lucky baneling mines, like the one against sC and Virus (which Virus should have won 2-0, if it weren't for that unneeded push). Artosis alone made it sound like Virus was being ABSOLUTELY DEMOLISHED by NesTea when it was far from it, focused heavily on everything NesTea was doing and ignoring sC's great tactical decisions, made it sound like Happy had no chance in hell against him, and so on. Now I've learned my lesson, which is to mute every match NesTea is in that Artosis is casting, so I can actually understand what is happening and not get distracted by insane fanboyism.

It is insane fanboyism, for sure, but you have to admit it's pretty amusing. Plus I son't think artosis is being 100% serious

He was probably expecting Mvp to win in a more convincing fashion.

I've purchased every single ticket at GomTV and as GSL seasons go by it's getting harder and harder to tolerate Tastosis casting. It's not the game knowledge, not the game insights, not even the enthusiasm they bring to the table. It's simply because HALF of the time they are on live TV they're talking about puppies, pranks, movies, jokes, family stories, bla bla bla bla... This is simply pathetic. What would you feel if Marv Albert (the legendary NBA play-by-play commentator) did the same? Or Vin Scully from the Dodgers? Or pretty much any other cast from any serious sport? I really appreciate whenever they actually talk about the game, which at this point must be like 40% of the time they are not talking about a lollipop they tasted in high school. Another major issue is the fact that it is impossible to actually listen to a cast whenever NesTea is playing. On the last game of the series with MVP, they pure and simply were sad when they figured out NesTea was gonna lose. I'm OK with being a fan of a player over another, but casters have the rule of impartiality. That's not only unprofessional, it's disrespectful towards other players. I mentioned these same issues with IPL3 when PainUser went and said "This is what TheSTC needs to get back into this game" while he was 40 supply ahead over Stephano. And last but not least, Starcraft 2 is over a year old, and there are certain things casters need to be pretty carefull before spitting them off. For example, for the last 3 GSL casts, Ro16 Code S, Code A finals and Ro8 Code S, in every single one of them you heard them say (Either Tastosis, Wolf and Moletrap) "This was the most ********** I've ever seen!". You've seen probably thousands of games by now, and I get it's pretty tempting to say something that will get the viewers attention, but most of the time they're simply wrong and look dumb. Take Wolf's example, when he said "This is the most one sided GSL finals I've ever seen!". This just called for a facepalm. Don't get me wrong. I love e-Sports and I feel that correcting some of this issues as soon as possible is the only way "we" could be recognized all over the world and given more chances in national TV broadcasts and stuff.

All of your points combined with their lack of passion for the game in the recent months is just another factor that is contributing to the ineviable collapse of E Sports as a whole erasing it from the face of mainstream for many years to come.
