Standard LR thread rules apply. No caster bashing, no insulting the interviewers, no player bashing, no balance whining. Bans will be doled out to violators so don't shit up this thread with immature garbage. |

There IS a use, and you just said it.

Hmm, I keep thinking that when those mutas were trying to bait those marines into those bombs, that it would be obvious since obviously Zergs wouldn't commit their mutas to attack a bunch of marines, so them swooping in and out like that would make the terran suspicious and throw down a scan just to be sure.

That's the difference between Lucky and unluc Moon

All Terrans need is one raven with the main army in the mid-late game, then all those scans can turn into mules and there's no danger. I don't understand why no top players do this.

Boxer...sigh. That was lame!

This kind of Boxer I want to see in MLG. Good game overall tho.

Anything else and you're kidding yourself and the spectators.

Eventually terrans will figure out how to make ravens

Here is the huge difference between lurkers and baneling bombs. Lurkers cost more to make, do not kill 20 units at once instantly while baneling bombs do. Its just 1 example of starcraft 2 being inferior to BW in terms of that mechanic.

Agreed, both are absurd, but zergs dont use bane bombs as often as they should. But when they do they are negated by scans, which as the game gets longer becomes less of an issue.
Thats why i think lurkers need to come back or some other unit like it because of its range. Toss has Colossi and Terran have tanks, i would happily sacrifice weaker version of broodlords in favor of a seige unit.
Only time will tell.

Luckily at low masters I haven't faced a single zerg who uses baneling bombs :D Cause you know, setting a couple of baneling bombs takes like 4 extra clicks!

"trololol just build raven" yeah one raven getting down by mutas in one shot

lol@boxer shaking his head on the close-up.

After watching so many games going to zerg after hitting baneling bombs there is absolutely no excuse not to bring a raven with your army tvz. Late game (after 3 bases) its not a big investment to get 1-2 ravens. Also there get for laying down PDD for mutas or auto turrets for lings or harass, or the seeker buff to kill a flock of mutas or at least make them run away as the lings and blings run in and the mutas come to finish off tanks, just fire a seeker missle so they need to run away as the lings and blings get cleaned up.

No they could do better at pointing out the game is over. Tastosis will call it how they see it, if it's over they begin saying that player x needs to gg. Even the GSL code A casters do this.

Ehm spider mines work completely differently and are much easier to handle (without detection). -_-

boxer has 1.2k overgas, doesnt build a raven and there are guys complaining about burrowed banelings?
ravens save so much scans vs creep, make u safe vs banes and u can throw down pdd to prevent the mutas from sniping tanks. why u no build raven terrans?
