There's a reason certain players are renowned for their PvP and win in it at with extraordinary consistency. Do you think they just "flip the coin" well or something? Edit: and yes there is a degree of luck, but its like, if you play poker - the right choices win more in the long term, but sometimes you will lose games to stupid things. Similarly, in starcraft ii pvp, even if you make good choices you might lose, but in bo5 sets, to get reverse killed like Hasu did, was not 3 good games outlucked, but 3 games with not top notch decisions.

He resorts to cheeky gimmicky builds that really will get shut down by solid players. Didn't elfi 2-0'ed Idra in pool play? My money is on elfi.. Idra wouldn't beat any protoss -- yeah even the average ones -- to save his life. Puma on the other hand...

Elfi went robo and scouted no detection so he went DTs, which is solid RTS scout and react.

lol, don't bother replying to someone that furious. Can't people be supportive of a relatively new player breaking out and making the finals of a stacked tournament?

It was a pretty amazing series with a lot of back and forth action and awesome engagements. Really really entertaining to watch. I got to watch like last 3 minutes where both Dark shrines were going up. I figured I wouldn't have missed much.
