Too bad the rules aren't, players who win "straight up games" advance. Hasu got beat and Elfi moves on.

REVERSE WIN BY ELFI, YOU PVP MONSTER. Such an amazing pvp, wish hasuobs advanced though. His win over dimaga was so surprising.

Wow. That was a disappointing ending to an otherwise good series. DT should not be the way that you win. Oh well. GG Elfi

i think scouting no robo then going straight DT was absolutely hilarious

PvZ or PvT. I'm thinking the PvZ final would be more competitive.

@11:40 Hasu takes out the warp prism, but Elfi has taken out the robo in Hasu's base. Elfi with 3 DTs in Hasu's base.

Hasu gets some DTs in Elfi's base, but it's no match. Hasu gg's.

Elfi makes the comeback, down 0-2, to win 3-2.

Why do you always do this to me hasu

Yea also the last game they kept saying Elfi needed to "get up to 12 stalker the it would be 12 stalker vs 10 stalker and some zealot it is definite win with blink!" except they don't seem to understand that blinking in renders them blinkless for a looong 10 seconds where the zealots have impunity and actually it would be a terrible engage, especially with any subsequent warp in, and especially since blink stalkers in low numbers can be micro'd against by attack target moving forward

I don't mind lack of caster knowledge but when caster's lack knowledge AND THEN use that lack of knowledge to make calls like "should do this" or "should do that" it's really irritating, because they're just wrong

Yup, these caster's confidence far exceeds their capacity...

Well skill wise these two are probably better then any other casting duo so dunno.

Hahah yeah don't both of them play at GM level in Europe? They are pretty good

Oh they probably are good.. but with the way the phrase their comments, they think they are way better than Hasu and Elfi... the funny thing is they were mostly wrong with every prediction they made...

I'd guess they're fairly good (i don't think they're GM but i really don't know) but regardless they are clearly unfamiliar with blink stalker vs phoenix and blink vs blink, which implies they, if they play at such a high level, do not run into/do not play that kind of PvP, in which case they still shouldn't try to say such definitive things they don't have knowledge about

Well Mr Bitter is a Zerg but I am sure they at least get matched up against GM europeans, but yeah hahah they make a lot of bad calls. I just find it funny that so many people call them bad at the game when they play at a pretty decent level.

Just goes to show that good player!= good caster I guess

idra or puma will roflstomp elfi, elfi just doesn't have the mechanics to compete. He resorts to cheeky gimmicky builds that really will get shut down by solid players.

Elfi's decision making that game was pretty awesome. :O

This should also give some hope to Idra fans out there, because even though he lost to Elfi in the group stages, I think Idra definitely has a better shot vs Elfi than vs Hasu.
On a purely personal note, I'd like to show Yellow the beauty of infinitely repeating Starcraft 2 bunkers. -Boxer

Everything you saw was a result of that proxy pylon. That game is completely different without it.

THIS is what this series comes down to? QQ

Oh well, that's PvP.

Although we have learned some things: the era of 4gate seems to be over for the most part, different compositions work, there's much to be learned about PvP in the future with the roadblock 4gate out of the way...and both players are good contenders for the sick nerd baller.

Kinda sad that two of Hasu's losses were to "funny" stuff (
