If players are fixing matches, then there goes the credibility of the sport. That isn't something you should just throw around when someone pulls off an upset or when one player looks worse than you'd expect them to. If there's evidence, if there's a pattern, if there's anything substantial, then sure. But just saying "Puma didn't look good against Idra, must have thrown the match on purpose" is pretty awful in my opinion. That's actually a big deal, this is supposed to be a real competition, not a professional wrestling match. Edit @ the tweet: probably just a tweet :-p Hopefully. If you think he's serious about that, then sure, discuss it, I just get frustrated when some people talk about match fixing so casually -.- Upsets happen, but especially when the same thing happened with demuslim vs idra only a few weeks ago, it raises questions.
Did you read the above post?
You have virtually 0 evidence that there is any match fixing going on. To simply throw around that term is extremely dangerous. You should seriously think about what you're saying before making that accusation again...
BTW the Demu v Idra thing is a lot different, Demu joined the tourney then realized midway that he was ineligible or unable to play.

any updates on slashers hair?
|
Ah, I knew PuMa has a dodgy TvZ, but still IdrA 3-0'ing him is amazing considering the players he loses to these days, great performance!
|
Beautiful tactical play by Puma. ok This is better.
edit: Puma drop shipped about 8 marauders to this "4th" and then stimmed and engaged while Hasu was poking at the front. 2 collosi were snapped in half easy peasy.

Huh just got into work and i see that Idra pwned PuMa 3-0 that fuckin fantastic :D
|
Wow Puma surviving that push =O
|
Wtf, backing off with 8 stlakers, a sentry, and 2 colossus vs 2 medivacs, a few vikings, 2 marauders and 2 marines? WHAT?!
|
Wheres the drop defense? The whole game is mother fucking drops.

Just woke up. Oh Slasher :D

(and all the similar posts)
I'm not trying to imply that puma v idra was fixed, or that it was the same as demu v idra. I'm just saying that it will raise questions regardless of the truth, and just the questions being raised can be bad.

Hasu needs to tech now that he's ahead. Puma's making 3 vikings at a time he's gonna crush colo soon.

0 evidence except this tweet: http://i.imgur.com/ssWYE.png and the fact that Puma didn't need this to qualify for IEM championships while Idra did. Also think of how good of a story this will make, EG is going to get a TON of publicity if Idra wins.
