probably no one realized but revival had all his army in hold position...then he sees a drop in hes main and presses 1+a to that... but half his army was in range of the real army,so it went that way :/

This is what PvZ is going to be for the next few months now that you can't neural parasite a colossus unless protoss is awful. Especially when they start mixing in motherships

NesTea and Coca are going to be doing a shit-load of mid-game 2/3 base all-ins to try to avoid the late game, and if they get late game, they are going to lose as well.

Just watch.

Losira and Nestea NEVER used neural parasite to win their ZvP games. Coca has done it rarely as well. Seriously, go find a VOD of them using it and let me know because NP was never relevant to korean ZvP.

The point is not "NP IS THE ONLY WAY TO WIN ZVP" , Its the best zergs , nestea , coca and losira , try to finish their opponent off or severely damage him before the late game kicks in which is the exact opposite of what idra is trying to do .

(playing like a Terran in TvZ : Turtle , trying to use drops to dwindle the economy and make small engagements to lower the colossus count and enter the late game ahead of the protoss)

Yeah, no shit it's hard to beat protoss on roach hydra corrupter when they have a maxed army. But if you let them tech up, expand, and do everything they wanted without teching up and being on a bigger economy yourself, then you got outplayed.

Did idra do nothing?

Let me give you a recap of what he did

Harass protoss economy and lower probe count significantly even under severe phoenix pressure while losing a whopping number of 2 drones after 5 zealot rush + phoenix harass.

Lower colossus count with small engagement

Delay protoss's expansions with creep spew out of ovies

Die to protoss army even after all that harassment because He did not tech up

Lmao. Let me give you a recap of what he did because we apparently watched completely different games.

Lose tons of overlords and get majorly supply blocked. Lose tons of hydras and roaches. Take over 12000 resources worth of damage, drones or not. Drones alone do not win you games when your army is constantly being picked apart bit by bit and its production stopped via suply block.

Not really lower the colossus, I don't remember him sniping a single one?

Not have a fourth while the protoss has his own third.

You must be completely blinded by fanboyism if you think three drops once the protoss already had an almost maxed army (pretty much just allowing him to hae more supply put into his army) warrants saying "all that harassment" as if IdrA was constantly pressuring, after elfi spent that entire game microing phoenixes to kill every stray unit on the map.

He got outplayed HARD.

I think ultas are better vs protoss even lol, well at least when its stalker heavy, wich is usually. I play zerg now though (obviously not at the highest level) and i agree that they are mostly a win more unit or a closer unit. You use them when you are way ahead on economy and bases and you need it to close out the game. I really think revival was almost in that position though, but then he threw away about 6 ultras in to tank fire 1 by 1, not to mention some zerglings and some infestors while losing units to the drop going on as well.

Heh, at that point in the game I was actually giggling at this, thinking to myself "the ultras aren't responding, Strelok's marines are just taking pot shots at them. Is Revival just playing around now?"

Little did I know that how much of an impact that battle was going to have on the game.
