It shouldnt matter but I'm in masters zerg, :/ , I guess you'd have to be decent at zerg to see some of the finer points to DRG's play.

Hilarious. Great tournament so far. I would've liked double elim (obviously), but the production is just so well done. GO THORZAIN

It's a very simple, short-and-sweet tournament. It's kind of known for that too. It contrasts many others. ::shrugs:: It's like that because that's how the directors want it to be.

Single elimination is kind of meh, imo. the format is fine, its an oneday invitational with every series getting streamed and at first the viewers must enjoy the event not the players... so everything fine nothing to worry about

http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Apollo From the first day of the beta Apollo played as Terran, his race in Brood War. He played all day every day until he moved back to Korea for the summer of 2010 to live with Tasteless. He spent his time there talking Starcraft 2 every day with Idra, Artosis and his roommate. Tasteless influenced Apollo to begin commentating and he applied for the position of Day 9s co-commentator at IEM Season V. Apollo started out the release of the game playing Zerg, playing at a high level but never winning tournaments. He ultimately switched to Random to assist him in his casting.

They all want to do Hellions->10-11 minute Marine/Tank push. Mvp is the only baller I've seen recently that can really break that mold (with that ridiculous 3rd CC timing). I even fight that same style 9 out of 10 times on the ladder (hellions into a push that tries to beat mutas out). You know why DRG crushes it every time though? Dat creep spread.
