Group 2: Sjow and HerO got very good draws. Maka's been irrelevant for such a long time, and his TvT just isn't that solid, esp. compared to Sjow's "Code S TvT." Meanwhile, viOlet is not only teamless but can't play anything but ZvZ. As for the other two, I think Curious should take down Sniper if nerves don't get to him, as Curious's ZvZ is pretty darn good. Not sure about YGO vs. ShinyStar though. Group 3: How is SaSe's PvZ anyways? I thought it was pretty unimpressive. I know FD's ZvP has historically been atrocious -- though in the ST, he cleaned it up a lot vs. Ace (and almost won), but that was a while ago. Should be interesting to see what shape it's in nowadays. Match should be something of an entertaining trainwreck from either player (or from both!). JYP got a good draw, I feel. Not sure how I feel about the rest of the group. We all know that Byun can TvT it up like nothing else and his TvP's not atrocious, but with his responsibilities to his puppy lately, I dunno. And I have no idea how Superstar's ZvP is at all. Group 4: I actually think all the Protoss in this group are kind of screwed. Dream's really solid and isn't shy about cheesing, Naniwa can't PvZ all that well, Check's been getting into form lately, and Yoda's kind of like Dream re: the cheese department and definitely isn't afraid to pull out the 1/1/1.

Select is godly in TvP and gets Alicia who's been in a huge slump lately Sjow gets Maka who is one of the weaker Terran there Sase gets Fruitdealer who's also been on a big slump lately And Naniwa gets Lucky, one of the easier opponent in code A as well

Select, I feel has a chance against the falling alicia (though it hurts me to say that), and SaSe I think can deal with FD (again... Hurts me... I dream of the day our fruitman returns to form. Always has, and always will be one of my favorite non-ogs non-protoss players...) And WOW! Shiny made it through again? This kid's gonna make it big soon... And he doesn't even have a team O.o

sC vs RevivaL = sC, only slightly because RevivaL has been on a tear lately, though sC has gone toe-to-toe against the greatest Zerg player of SCII Alicia vs SeleCT = SeleCT, Alicia is too depressed and constantly whining on twitter instead of thinking up new strategies and builds vs Terran, and SeleCT iirc is very good at TvP. MC vs Monster = MC, unless he decides to not take it seriously. Kyrix vs GuMiHo = GuMiHo. He trains with Leenock, enough said. Bye Kyrix. YuGiOh vs lOvShinyStar = No data on ShinyStar, so I'll go with YuGiOh, who is very consistent at reaching ro16. viOlet vs Liquid`Hero = Hero has been doing great lately, despite losing to MKP. When Hero is allowed to play a macro game, he is a monster. Sniper vs Curious = Curious is actually really really good, but guys like Tastosis like bashing him because of his weak performances in the GSTL. They should be watching the ESV weeklies instead. Maka vs SjoW = SjoW. He can give Bomber a run for his money, so he's really good at TvT. Fruitdealer vs SaSe = SaSe. I love cheering for Fruitdealer, but he always disappoints. JYP vs JookTo = JYP ezpz. He's got the skill to get into Code S. Byun vs Oz = Byun. Oz is a solid player, but Byun's been there against the best players and won. Tassadar vs SUPERSTAR = SUPERSTAR. Oh Tassadar, how low you have fallen. You looked really great getting into the finals of your first Code A run, then you just slipped off entirely. Did Puzzle take your soul? Tester vs Dream = Tester. Unless he decides to go for a weird wonky build, he should take this easy. Lucky vs NaNiWa = NaNiWa. He's promised us that the deconstruction and reconstruction of his gameplay by staying in Korea is progressing really well. He should show us great games this time around. Check vs Weekend = Check, he's a Code S level Zerg player and is solid in every match-up. IMYoda vs Sage = Sage. Sage's hard contain strats against Terran players is so scary (look what he did to sC). If Yoda shows up with very interesting builds to catch Sage offguard, he might win a game, but Sage is known as the scouting master.

Fruitdealer vs Sase would be interesting depending on which Fruitdealer shows up, the inspiring one that we see from time to time or the other one. Lucky vs Naniwa doesn't look too good for Naniwa, since Lucky is actually quite good. Select vs Alicia is hard to predict on either side. sC vs Revival though is probably the match I'm looking forward to the most, since Revival has been quite on form lately and sC has always been a solid terran, hopefully he's healed up enough to compete and practice for Revival. On the other hand, I feel like Trickster may actually fall out of code A. MVPDream isn't a bad player, but Trickster seems to hang in there when he needs it most though. All in all, it seems like good matches all around and am looking forward to them. On September 15 2011 13:22 tuho12345 wrote: Only 1 mirror MU is TvT.
