It was a hyperbole. Clearly the thing to focus on...

Clever commentators... This is cross-positions... Yes... but it's the closest possible spawns on shakuras. What?? Geometry. they can spawn 10-2 and 4-8. so, no, its not closest spawns on this map. Both of those are farther away than this. the guy above said it is closer by ground, which I don't know is true or not, but its certainly not closer by air. regardless, when they spawn on exact opposite sides of the map, its called cross-positions. stupid thing to argue about. They said it's a longer rush distance and that Idra got lucky with the spawns. This is false. I say it's false and I get 100 morons attacking me... well, i guess your phd in math doesn't help you count to 100 either. lol. It was a hyperbole. Clearly the thing to focus on...

I remember watching a game with very similar opens against MVP on his stream and when MVP finally tried to commit to the attack Idra had a perfectly spread army to destroy it - this game Idra still had most of his lings/blings bundled up when Heart started to move =/ At least his gg timings and mental game have improved. Can't wait until he returns to Korea with a better practice environment (with English speakers!). His third got delayed forever. There is nothing he could do to change that, it's why BFH are so good, they give terran complete map control for 8-9 minutes until mutas are out, and if you take your third at 9 minutes you are behind.

His engagements have been losing him the series - if you compare his games and DRG's it's the biggest difference by far. A 9 minute third putting you behind is an old-school train of thought; it's pretty much the norm these days. If you get your third any earlier you probably can't hold it against a strong push (depending on the map).
