this is by far the worst spectating experience that you can get. the commentators are a joke, they get disconnects, the camera is unwatchable, the UI is huge...
horrible...
I must agree I've watched almost every WoW event and this is the worst commentating/camera I've ever seen, granted these are new casters but still man its nearly unwatchable :X oh well.

It's confusing for everyone haha.
No, it makes sense for people who play the game and understand pvp to a basic level. The interface being shown displays Crowd control abilities and who's occasionally being focused down. I can follow it, but it's mildly difficult because the casters are super meh.
I played at a relatively high level and this shit is confusing as hell. Don't kid yourself, only people who are currently deeply involved in arena can follow this more closely.
I know the spells they use but it's almost impossible to see 6 players using spells.
Especially when it's lock vs lock.
Obviously you can understand a general trend of what's going on and when big cooldowns are burned, but it's extremely difficult to catch the subtle things players are doing, especially with the terrible casting (Soe.)

To be fair, there was plenty of pressure on the DK and Shaman. Not sure if you played against a real "train the healer" team in BC/WotLK or not, but I have nightmares of a warrior x2 or warrior/dk deathgrip/charging my priest and me and my mage pretending like we can do something about it lol.
Its still like that xD. I play a Spriest/Mage/Shaman team and the melee cleave's make me want to cry they just keep charging and life gripping xD. Mind my rating is only 1500....

kor doesnt have good wow players, hydra and kalimist are pretty good players in EU, enigmz is the best druid in the world than we have several good players in US such as reckful and snutzington ...at least those were the names that i recon from when i played
i remember the koreans owned everybody when they played....even though wow isn't taken seriously in korea lol
It kinda was, Gom used to have wow tournaments for example
No, Soe is not new to casting WoW, I am pretty sure she's been involved with some of 2GDs casting stuff before. She's his girlfriend too, in case you didn't know.

Can you call Snutz good? Was he the CHIKAAA CHIKKAAA guy? He seemed more annoying than good. Hoodrych and Nadagast were pretty good for US
Numberone Orangemarmelede and SatZ were THE Korean team that won because they were amazing.

In around twelve hours.
x_x Ah well. Saw that there were 67,000 people still watching stream, so I assumed that SC2 was coming back soon.

is there more sc to come or will it end after wow for today?
No more SC2, just showing our sister e-Sport Blizzard title some love, but I haven't a clue what is going on. So I'm off to bed.

The koreans had 2 really good teams but one member of each quit so they joined a single team and did insane in the 08-09 season. and yeah Gom had a wow tourney :0

Exactly, I watched some tournaments with VHell and 2GD back in the days and they would actually relay useful information to the viewers so that you could actually follow the more subtle things a bit.
Now the only thing I see is lots of flashy lights on the screen and 6 health bars going up and down.

That's just ridiculous. Whatever happened to 4k hp? Couldn't control the gear eh?
Its all relative anyway, silly statement
I'm sure it's relative but it's still not smart to have such inflation. I remember watching my druid friend in a 2v2 arena which turned into 1v2. They literally could not kill him for over five minutes. Any time he got nearly out of mana, his innervate would kick back in and I just couldn't believe it...
But the damage scales accordingly.... It matters absolutely nothing if you add a zero of two zero's to each skill's description.
There is something about WoW players that just do not understand what "scale" is. So many people are always like "OMG LOOK HOW BIG HE HIT ME FOR, IT HAS fourrrrrrrrrrr ZEROS!"
New expansion hits and the first thing you hear is greens getting spammed with 200 stam and they are like OMG THIS IS RETARDED!

From a spectator-point-of-view, following arenamatches is really hard. Especially when the camera gets stuck at a bunch of boxes causing it to zoom all the way in until all you see is a blurry firework of some spell-effects. :/
